Hey Sleeves. Just a heads-up that the pack descriptions for 80+ overall players really just kinda present the low-end. Despite the description presenting Jumbo Elite Players Packs and Ultimate Packs as about the same, the odds of pulling higher-end cards is much higher in the Ults (Something that is clarified whenever you can check the pack odds while they're in store which is unfortunately not available when they aren't in store). I can understand going for them anyway, but I think in a market with the NHL players being vastly cheaper cause of TOTY, the better odds at higher-end pulls make the Ults better. Just figured I'd bring this to your attention and even if you still go with Jumbos, it's better to clarify that important difference.
thank you for pointing this out!!! I just checked, Ultimate packs give a 24% chance of pulling an 86+, while Jumbo Elite Players packs only have a 9% chance od pulling an 86+. I hope sleeves sees this because it may change how he wants to spend his resources from champs etc.
I think it's the game. I noticed it slows your players down, can't turn as fast, delayed shots and passes. Well I noticed it on mine, not sure about everyone else.

I got mcdavid, makar and finally mackinnon. I got mcdavid and makar fairly easily since I had they’re X factors but for mackinnon I had to trade in a bunch of 83s and 82s and my 2 88 captains players, I also got the 8 collectibles from the objectives. I’m pretty happy I got the 3 that I wanted to most.
Me too I got rid of everything including my bottom 6 87-88s to get those 3 , and they’re nuts !! With rewards I can pretty much get my team back up in no time , worth it in my opinion.
I agree with 95% of your advice but still think Ultimate Choice is the way to go for Champs collectibles if you're chasing TOTY/fodder. Better odds mean a better likelihood of the golden goose, or at the very least higher-end fodder. It's almost hard to not get an 85 in them.
I just started playing HUT a month ago! How do I get those TOTY cards that everyone has? It seems in Rivals that’s all I get matched up against and they’re so OP there’s nothing I can do lol I’m not envious that people have them I just wanna know how to get them as well?
Hey Sleeves, just wondering if you think collectibles will be similar to Fantasy for post event. For example, I currently have 21 TOTY collectibles (I already upgraded my Makar simply so I could make a player) and I don't think I'll get enough to make Mack or Connor and I truthfully don't plan on making any in week 2. With the left over, do you think it will be "trade 3-4 collectibles for an Ultimate pack"?
Man, these ToTY cards are just unfair. Managed to deplete my entire collection to make 3 of them. Their impact is immediately felt. Got Mac, McDavid, and Cale. Activated the speed synergies. Activated wheels. Gawd, these guys just fly all over the place and turn on a dime. Their shots are electric and go in frequently. It's absolutely unfair.
Haven’t made any as of yet. Have XF Tkachuk. Had 400 TB cards, but made Shanahan, to have 3 (Modano, Aucoin). Still have 220 TB cards, plus enough to do make MacKinnon or McDavid with Tkachuk.
@@SleevelessGaming we have no alternatives when it comes to a hockey game. EA doesn’t give a fuck about player base, they care about income. We are stuck waiting for another hockey game, until then we are stuck eating “shit” product every year unfortunately
can't pull purple from normal packs.. I made gold upgrades with 10 gold players to gamble because 40 for 1 collectible (I mean really?), ~15 packs over few days and got 91 and 88 + 83,84,85.. seems to work
I traded in my X factor McDavid and got the TOTY and he hasn't done anything. Man was his X-factor going crazy and now I can't find the back of the net. I was thinking it was because I sacrificed some players that were in my lineup but McDavids line didn't change so idk what the issue is.
As someone who just started playing the game after switching from a completely dead fifa I find it kinda disappointing there’s nothing you can do with the toty collectibles besides toty cards, like just give me an option to make some kind of pack with them free collectibles bc Ik I ain’t getting any toty cards.
after this event and the fantasy event when its over the sets end and other sets will pop up for packs for collectibles. i had like 20 free fantasy collectibles and got great packs for them.
I think your math was wrong. TOTY-collectibles and power-up-collectibles are worth the same, creating them via sets. With full xfactor you get a discount of 18 toty-collectibles. You do not need 18 pu-collectibles to upgrade, so it is a discount.
If you've upgraded the xfactor the entire way and/or use free PUCs from objectives or moments, it is a discount. If you used your collection to bundle the PUCs, even up to this point, it is not a discount

its stupid that ea sport nhl makes those collectible for team of the year, most people will have them, fifa is much better in that case, its not everyone will have a chance to get TOTY. theres no set for those TOTY.
