Couldn't agree more! I think that it's the most experimental sound that we've had from the band to date and really builds on what they have been putting together before. Exciting times to be a Full of Hell fan eh!
I'll certainly check this band out as they sound like they have a Converge sound to them with those chaotic and frantic guitar riffs. Also I like your Goatwhore vinyl on display Tris! 🤘
I was digging this album until the five minute cut in the middle. It really knocked me off the momentum and it never got me back in after. Oh well, the singles are at least still bangers.
Not a band I am in the least bit familiar with but sounds like might be a good start. So I will definitely give it a go. Thanks for the review and another introduction to a band!
I love all their albums. I like this better than “Garden” - I feel it has more character and the individual songs are much more distinguishable and memorable. Also, it is quite easy to recognize the results of all their collaborations in these new songs. And since I also love all these collaborations, this new album ist absolutely perfect for me. Great review and fitting score for an excellent record !
Music for morning dog walk now sorted. Awesome. I've not listened to them before so this will be an interesting introduction.. that second music clip in your review is crushing heavy.
Full of Hell is one of those bands that I've really wanted to like because I do like some grindcore, but something just hasn't clicked, and I feel it is because of the "noise" element. It is an assault to the senses, and not in a good way for me. However, after checking out your review, and seeing the album is 25 minutes, I decided to sit down and give it a listen. The album as a whole still isn't for me, but some songs really stand out such as the title track, Vomiting Glass and Schizoid Rapture. The songs I like on this album remind me of a mix of Cephalic Carnage, Pig Destroyer, and like on Coagulated Bliss, the Dillinger Escape Plan.
