Listened to it 3 times already and its probably my second or at least 3rd favourite full of hell release. The new sound they're experimenting with is definitely working for me
This albums slow song paces and vibes remind me of old Scorn. Check out that band if you like this. White Irises Blind is a good track of theirs. Going to see FOH on May 2nd/2024 if all goes to plan
Just saw the channel metal meltdown talk positive about this here band I've never heard of. What the hell guys! Why haven't anyone told me about you before? This rips, so hard!
No hate, but thats surprising. I feel like they've cast an unavoidably large shadow on their sector of heavy music, and are constantly lauded for their collaborations, and elevated approach to the genre. Shit, I dont think Ive been to a show in the past 6 or so years without seeing at least two FoH shirts a night. Either way, lucky you, youve got a hell of a loaded catalogue to discover still.
@@nagelswe11 This would be grindcore, which is technically a subgenre of Hardcore Punk. That said, the further along you get into this kind of stuff, the more you'll hear nitpicky arguments about subgenres. Don't get too swept up in it. Deathcore has kind of a negative connotation in modern heavy music, but check out The Red Chord if you want a good examples of what the genre sounded like in its infancy.
@@MoxFulder92 thanks for the tips and info, but I'm going to be honest. I've never really liked punk or hardcore. The closest is like the Offspring, and the Haunted's debut album with Peter Dolving on vocals. "real" punk is just to shitty sounding, to me. Which is very hypocritical, I've been listening to black metal for 25 years But yeah, maybe I hear a lil bit of Carcass in this sound. I might just continue stalking around the edges, enjoying a song here and there, and Full of Hell:)
@@bottlemanic i was a little concerned at first cause i was expecting more rough and harsh songs but on the second thought it is very different from their other releases BUT its fucking amazing
It's really exciting to hear the chances that Full of Hell is willing to take with their sound-- & 9 times outta 10, their experiments pay off!🦃⚡🎸🤯🦃⚡🎸🤯🦃⚡🎸🤯🦃
