Great commentary. He usually seems a little more chill or reserved. I liked all his shout outs to other skaters that did the tricks they were trying. Good skate nerd knowledge.
That's probably the coolest game of skate I ever watched (and I watched a ton of them haha)!!! This 4 skaters are out of this world, and really cool and fun guys!
Mad respect for his integrity in admitting certain tricks weren’t what he was going for even though he landed him All of those dudes are amazing though, can’t wait to see where Mota goes, literally hammered out best trick at the super crown at 14!!!
Carlos's manual game is beyond compare. So many crazy tricks landed on both offence and defense. Especially those tricks on defense, like, to just have a fakie heelflip fakie nose manny is crazy, fakie flip manny, nollie flip nose manny, so many crazy tricks on defense.
I believe he said he has close to 7 cysts in his knee and eventually will need to have surgery to remove them, but until then is trying to push through the pain to keep skating. The 10 stair was too much for his knee with all the other obstacles they skated prior adding up, so he had to sit out on the manual pad.
yeah man, as much as i loved watching this series, i was just thinking to myself how demanding to the body it must be doing it all in one day. i know they’re pros and all but sheesh… hope Gustavo is ok also.
This was such a fun format and great to see so much skill on display. That's a lot of stuff to pack into a day, thanks to those guys for putting on such a fantastic show!
Loved this format, these guys are so consistent and have the biggest bag of tricks, amazing to watch. Ideas for the next teams - Ryan's (Shecks, Decenzo), Andersons (Mike, Jake), McClung's (all 3) - make er happen!
Yes exactly! They need to rework the rules for all the different types of game of skates. Shouldn't be the same rules (one try) as the flatground games of skate are. Slides or grinds have 2 tries. I think the same at least for manuals or more since those are the most difficult types of tricks...
Too many obstacles are rails in this series. You need 9 obstacles total in case it's tied SKAT- with a final; it should be 3 rail-based, 3 "launch" (quarterpipe/mini ramp/kicker/wedge/etc), and 3 that are flatground/manny pad/stair.
