This might not make sense but they don’t sound like a mass band more like a college band who’s season never ended and went into summer. Very colorful truly enjoying the presence of overtones throughout the chord structures

Yep, I was thinking something similar. It's amazing to hear 300+ people sound so good and clean. I believe marching bands in general have evolved, improved and I'm thankful to witness this.

Nah, coming from a trumpet player Ima need more meat. Y’all relying too much on the screamers but they ain’t got no support beneath them to thicken up that sound. People underestimate how powerful it is playing right on top of the staff. That should sound like an army of trumpets with those numbers. At this level I know they can carry their own weight. Im a huge fan of GAMB so this aint hate, all love from an old head 2006 R.D.O

Yes, they were so loud it was overloading these particular mics at certain points, tried to gain stage but the gym was just too loud. You can actually hear it in the recording that's how high the SPL was, the mics started popping at one point because of the sound pressure.

Everyone keep talking about they can’t hear the trumpets but when u in a gym and got a hell of a low brass section ofc trumpets are gonna be hard to hear.. just like Noasb trumpets Wasnt heard OUTSIDE at all and I ain’t hear Memphis trumpets in they clip either and they trumpet section is better then Noasb 🙃🙃

Tbh.. they mid so far all the arrangements sound the same.. whole notes half notes.. they got damn near 50 trombones so they supposed to be a wall fr.. then the mellos play that one note that’s stands out towards the end of every arrangement. Then it seem like only the middle section of the band playing fr.. idk it could just be me 🤷🏾‍♂️.. but the nice vid !
