I noticed a trend with a lot of newer decks recently Konami releases that they have a lot of cards that do shit during your turn and do fusion summoning or summoning during your turn, and a lot of really OP graveyard effects and cards that do a lot of banishing. I feel like when they made Tearlaments and the Gravekeeper Ishizu cards that they realized how broken they are, and decided to make stuff that counters it, and the power creep is so big now that its insane.
The Darklords are slaying. Starting with high level plays and ending with a complete dominance, i can feel the pain of the last opponent.😂 It's a shame we don't get full board wipe. Tier 1 Tearlament is pain.
yo I never thought to use TFD's effect to revive himself after fusing on a later. That play was easily the highlight of the overall great video for me!
I like summoning masquerade for people who take an hour for there turn so I can kill them😂😂😂but I think this deck requires a feather duster to destroy spells that destroy your monsters or negate your turn
Any reason as to why you're not playing Maxx C? This is so refreshing and nice to see. 99% pf the decks I see in Master Duel videos are literally only playable trough this card.
It's more because of the problem with Darklords where you need more Dark Fairy monster materials. Most of the time when I use Maxx C it gets negated in some way so now you end up with 1 less card to do plays on your turn. Feels like you get punished either way but that's how rogue decks are anyways. I will have deck lists shown on the channel that include Maxx C in the future though
@@ՓՓՓ Ay, okay. Don:t get me wrong, I approve lots of this. I'm a passionate hater of Maxx C so this is beautiful to see. Wouldn't even call it a Rogue deck if it runs without Maxx C so well in a game where literally everyone uses Maxx C even with Meta crap like Tearlaments.
@@Luna-Starfrost For sure, I wished it was banned lol Lost too many games due to them using it after setting up a powerful board. Only reason why you can go far even when they use Maxx C on you is simply because Kristya + TFD is too much for a lot of decks to get rid of haha

Great replays! I'm trying to learn the basics of the branded package. I noticed at 2:00 you summoned Albion as opposed to Lubellion. When do you summon one or the other? I feel like it used to always be lubellion > mirrorjade.
It's more specific to this deck! So by going into Albion you'll be able to send Kristya into the GY as the light monster, so that you can special summon it later to lock your opponents off. Lubellion is great when you have all other parts of your combos covered and/or want to recycle cards from the GY or banish pile. Pretty much depends what is going on in your situation but yea
Maybe i still don't know how to pilot the deck properly, but i feel like its extremely hard to pull off TFD from the extra (and consequently the Kristya lock), is it just me missplaying or is that a real weakness of the deck? Thank you for you videos!
You've got some great luck with those glossy and prismatic cards. I've got a bunch of glossy cards in my main deck but absolutely no prismatic. Then I've got 4 glossy in my extra deck and 1 prismatic Chimera.
Branded Fusion and Fusion Deployment lock you into fusions for the turn so you won’t see the links until turn 3 at the earliest (usually). I’m currently testing it with Morningstar though
By any chance had you heard of "Venetian Snares"? Has the same vibe as your track choices Morningstar remains as a brick eh? And how often do Amdusc come handy on a non dedicated Darklord list? WP nevertheless
Haven't heard of Venetian Snares, most of the music in the channel is from the "breakcore" genre. And yes morningstar is considered a brick but it's still pretty cool to win a game with it, just makes it harder. Amdusc has its uses but it comes up rarely, most of the time the Branded side of the deck is hard carrying it but that's expected lol
The new cards added a lot more consistency but generally if you're going second with any deck you still need to play through your opponent's interruptions. It's just a fight between what the opponent lets you do and how you can capitalize on it, just like I showed on the first duel. Searching a second Branded Fusion since I knew they would negate the activation of the first, etc. It's all mind games lol
2 reasons: I don't have to banish one of my monsters after I send Albion to the GY, and that I can reuse Mirrorjade effect on the opponent's turn. Definitely recommended to learn that so that you can use it in your games! Catches opponent's off guard when they see it activate again on their turn every once in a while
It's one of the downsides of playing Darklords sadly :( If you run hand traps then you'll be able to occasionally disrupt the opponent's plays but then you run the risk of not having enough to do anything on your turn. The deck lists I show are for reference so feel free to switch cards around to experiment as well
Branded Fusion can only be "activated" once per turn, so since Rulkallos negated the activation then now I'm able to do it again. Cards that say you can only "use" the effect once per turn cannot be used again 👍
Kristya is definitely the preferred option with how easy it is to get it in the GY. Branded Fusion and Dusk Dragon are two ways, but Dusk Dragon can't send scythe to the GY since it is lower than lv6.
Currently testing him in the deck right now but the reason you may not want to play it is because it can be a brick, easiest way to summon it is through condemned darklord (link summoning = no branded fusion), and that the TFD board wipe effect isn't as great when you still have monsters that activate when they get sent to the GY. It's really cool to see it work out though
@@ՓՓՓby this comment i can see your a good player because i made some trash version of this before and it did work good not like yours but i came a cross the same problem field wipe and all the tear stuff go and i also play tear so i could get out of it because my hand was good if i had a bad hand i would have lost 😂but nice vid bruh you deserve the like
Evenly matched is definitely annoying to go against, but with how often this deck searches Expulsion on turn1 you'll be able to give a monster to the opponent's field which now lets you keep 2 on your field. They won't be able to use Imperm from the hand that turn too so Kristya is safe unless they have another card to deal with it
Having a way to recycle cards back to the deck is great in grind games. You can play 1 if that's all you have, but it's definitely recommended to play 2.
@@Shinomori_ It's normally just Darklord content on the channel but I can probably experiment when I stream, we'll see. I don't have grass either so I'd have to change the deck list if I were to do it
