It's been a little while since I've posted a new video. Things have been pretty busy around here, and I've been working on a shift in my business. This footage is from late summer, so it's taken me a bit of time to catch up. In this video, I show you how I maintain my whole property. I use my rotary Honda mower to cut the back yard and my Toro reel mower to cut the front. Stay tuned to see some trouble that I run into along the way! At the end, I show you how I keep my mowers in tip top shape.

That piece by the curb with the two different height of cut always looks so clean! Especially those edges. You’ve got a great looking property!

I didnt think you was taking alot off in the back with the rotary until you had to clean it, Wow. Bermuda is always full of surprises hehe. Whats is your HOC in the back?

It’s so thick! Very dense grass. I think it’s was set at 1.5”

Have you ever tried the rotary scissors that attaches to any weedeater head? I think it can also attach to some battery operated ones too. It looks like you do pretty good with the string but wonder if using that thing would make it better?? Ive heard positive things about it.

I haven’t tried it. Stihl makes one for a gas trimmer I would like to try.

Is that a verticutter on your greens master, in front of your reel and behind your front roller? Do you always use it or can you disable it?

Yes, it’s called a groomer. It always runs when the reel is engaged, but you can remove the belt that drives it so it doesn’t run. But technically, yes, it’s designed to always run
