I have a pair of 570's, bought them to get our feet wet in the UTV world. Wife rides her own Harley, most definitely loves driving her ACE, she's fearless in it.. It's all over, I would never get to drive if we only had a SxS! Only RZR in our future is possibly a RS-1 for me, but there are some deals on the 900XC around... I'm an old guy, racing days unfortunately are past, these are for exploring and sightseeing (but I do like action when I stomp the right foot down)....
Glad to hear you advise the viewers that there's a definite learning curve when first getti g into the ACE. Safety is always paramount! I like this unit, but think it's a little pricey at nearly the cost of a SXS. And I've said it before, but at the price of these units (and SXSs), they should all come with full lower doors. The customer shouldn't have to shell out another $300 for cheap black plastic inserts that don't match the graphics on the machine.
I love it! 10 inches wider is no joke! Please review the odes dominator x 2 door! Or whatever the new 2 door model is called in telling you guys there starting to be good competition !
I want one of these extremely badly! Would love to lift it, and widen it, put mud tires, snorkels, a rad kit, clutch windshield full doers you name it I would do it if I had money!
I bought my son a 570 a couple years ago, he is now 11 and I have a 16 turbo and thinking of selling to get the XC but I'm curious to know your opinion over the RS1?
I don't get it. I think the ace is fantastic and really like it most of the time, most of us are out cruising by ourselves. I use it for a riding all around my farm and love it and when someone else wants to go for a ride I can take them a ride in my Ranger crew cab. However, being cramped in there is a total pain in the ass. There is no reason why Polaris couldn't make the inside of the cab just a little bit bigger. 1 inch deeper would make a world of difference. And getting in and out that you guys talked about as easy isn't easy. We're so cramped in there it is not easy to get in and out. I can pop in and out of my Ranger in 2 seconds was I've got to pour myself into the ace and then try and drag my feet out of there while my feet are getting caught and Twisted. It is totally freaking stupid Polaris doesn't make the cab of the ace just a little bit bigger to accommodate people other than midgets.
What he said ☝🏻. But also for someone who already owns a Rzr (like me) but don’t always have or want a passenger. And you want something a little more nimble for the tight trails. This machine is the perfect mix, 4 wheeler size, Rzr comfort.
I think Yamaha should step up to the plate and come out with a single seat yxz.. Maybe the FZ-07/ MT-07 motor, paddle shifter, YXZ body style, double A-arm suspension with plenty of travel, call it the YXZ700s.
Can anyone recommend an atv or single seat utv for my 10 Yo sister. She's from Texas so she's used to riding and driving out Kawasaki utv we use to haul woodout on the ranch but she always goes foot to the floor and hates going slow. (no need for anything like a renegade 1000r. lol)
Very easily, I'm sure they make them, but if you want to go the cheaper route then making one would be fairly easy just buy some plexi glass, and some of them pipe clamps. Place the sheet of plexi glass on the front of the machine, and mark where you want to cut. Then once you have it to the shape you want take a drill and slowly put 2 or 3 holes about in the glass on both sides, then place the glass on the bike and attach those clamps on it (you may want to place some cloth on the bars so you dont scratch them), then if you feel like it you could do it for the rest of the machine as well, such as the back and the roof! I hope this helped you out, took a while to type lol
and where is the ace going to be in 32 years..i bet no one will be riding one, unlike the odyssey and pilot still out there and going strong, my brother and i just got our 78-79 fl250 running again. thats pushing 40 years.
