Nice review. I wanted to see one from an actual user. Most of the reviews on RU-vid are done by people who get free review units from places like GearBest. They don't point out the little problems like you did. I have been going back and forth between this tablet and one of the Teclasts for months. I ended up getting an Acer Transformer Mini and I would recommend that one for anyone who is looking for pen support. It uses the same tech as the Microsoft Surface. It comes with a pen but you can use a Surface pen with it. If you are looking for dual boot, I think that the Chuwi is a great choice. You can even get this one from the Canadian Amazon site. it costs a bit more but if you have problems with it you don't have to send it back to China.

The stylus issues you're facing are a Windows software issue rather than a hardware problem. You can adjust the stylus settings in your registry. Once setup it's really good.

Thank you. What do you mean by multiple videos in Computer mode? Do you mean open multiple browser windows in Windows 10 mode? If so then yes, it works like a full fledged PC in Win10 mode and a full fledged Android Tablet in RemixOS mode. Hope that answers your question. Thanks , good review. Btw i have a question. I just bought this hi10 pro, the problem is i feel the touchpad (at the keyboard) a bit loose. So when i do the light tapping using my fingger, i can hear the soft click sound (but not the clicking sound like when i really click or press my fingger). Is it the way it is or it's just my keyboard ? thanks.

Hi. Great review. I ended up buying this with the z8350 instead of the z8300 so it should be even better than this one? I was wondering if you could help me? I bought two of them. One for me and one for my son who tends to be a little careless sometimes with his tablets so I am looking for a couple of good rugged cases for them as well as screen protectors. Would you happen to know a good place where I could buy them or be able to tell me sort of what I should be looking for? Like universal or would any other brands case fit with these? I wish they made Otterboxes for them but they don't. I didn't buy the keyboard so I am just looking for something for the tablet itself.

ThaHiddenHand hi, there aren't really any full body cases as it needs to dock with the keyboard. I only bought a 11 inch sleeve from Amazon as a carrying case for it. Otherwise it is unprotected. I searched ebay and aliexpress and didn't find any cases, only covers.

ThaHiddenHand you can find screen protector for this unit on aliexpress. The version you got is slightly bigger at 10.8 inches if you bought the plus version that was onsale for $149.99 today.

Rogertron 85 my understanding is that it'll only work with the models I've listed. Just go to gearbest and search the model you want and see if the keyboard shows up in the search. If it does then it's compatible

Hi I haven't noticed any lagginess in the operation of the device. The only "lag" is the interaction between bluetooth and wifi. They seem to interfere with each other, but asides from that nothing.

well in my case, when i try to execute chrome for example, it launches after a 5sec interval, or a pdf in foxit reader.. no less than 5-6 seconds.. or double click an exe.. don't know if I should reflash windows

Vaddix give me a day or two to re-download the game and see. Keep in mind though that the full game is too big to fit on the internal partition, so you'll need to install it on an external drive

Oh if you could open your setting in the settings so we can see your fps and what your settings are, If you can do the default best performance and then the lowest everthing can go that'd be great. I'm trying not to pull the trigger too early before more tests or confirmation of that cpu doing decent on lowest of low settings. lol

The Spark updates are usually controlled by the vendor. Vendor needs to test and make sure new updates won't cause problems. However in this case it depends on remixos developers to test and update and not chuwi

The Spark I think it's a tad more complicated with this device as it has two separate partitions for Windows and Android (remixos). Possibly search xda and see if anyone had tried

Edge Browser. Edge has a lot of security issues still. Anyway, for video playback via RU-vid using Edge, 4K video can run with 0 dropped frames according to Stats for Nerds. Using Chrome (my personal choice) you will get dropped frames even on 1080p video, this is because of the video codec supported by each browser (H.264 vs VP9). Installing the h264ify extension in Chrome will eliminate the problem.

My experience: Wifi seriously sucks Ass. whenever I still have connectiom with my phone or laptop it cant connect. it seriusly sucks. The USB C port isn't good. it's to deep in. many cables and adapters don't work. Don't get it for writing. it sucks. no palm recognition. The trackpad isn't great. it often clicks when writhing on keyboard. so better turn it off. Other then that after 3 month I got to say I really like it. it feels very good. performance is great. keyboard is nice.

And I forgot: speakers sound like a tin can. for heavy multi media use I wouldn't recommend it therefore. you need a external speaker for it. And the cammers aren't good. but that's not to bad, who the fuck would take photos with this thing.

Many of your gripes I have mentioned in the full review video. But to address your comments 1) Wifi is fine for streaming on kodi etc. Do you mean you are connecting your phone / laptop to the Chuwi or to your router? 2)the USB C port is fine, there are plenty of cables and adapter that Will work with it. I have Tronsmart ones and just cheapo $1 adapters and they all fit fine. 3)I already addressed that the writing is bad, even with the HiPen 2 4)The track pad itself is perfectly fine, it is the dimensions of the keyboard that is the problem. That's why I mentioned that I use a wireless mouse instead 5) Yes the speaker sound isn't the greatest which again is why I suggest to use external speaker. I do still stream Kodi on it and it's acceptable for personal use 6) Yeah I dont bother with the camera and don't plan to use it at all. That's what my phone and actual camera is for. overall the chuwi hi10 pro isn't the best at everything but overall its definitely still a good value based on what you pay for it.

Although I have not done it yet, I understand you can upgrade the realtek drivers that handle both wifi and usb to gain a better experience. I plan to do this. Has anyone else updated these drivers?

Wizard1 Canada yes and no. The charger issue itself couldn't be fixed, go I got them to send a charger of another type, which works as it should. However , neither of these chargers works with the longer type C cables I also ordered.. So while it's disappointing to say the least, at least I can type and charge at the same time on this Hi10 Plus now, albeit not too far away from the wall. :P How's your unit doing now after your review, still holding up? I haven't been able to do my review video as I wanted over the holidays, but it's still on the to-do list.

Mark Nguyen damn that Sucks, but the battery is good enough that you don't really need to have it plugged in no? I only plug it into wall socket when the battery is super low, otherwise I just use it as is. The one is have is still good and holding up well. I bought an AmazonBasics neoprene laptop/tablet sleeve to protect it while mobile. Get the 11inch version as the 10 inch version is too small. I'd hate to get that beautiful metal skin scratched up

Mine is too. The battery on the Plus is actually very good and I haven't had any problems with it; I just prefer having the option of plugging it in while working when I need to, and of course to have the keyboard work while I'm charging! My keyboard case exceeded my expectations too, though as noted in other reviews it's a real dust magnet. I modified mine with extra pads to keep the keyboard from scratching the screen; that little life hack will be in my review too, though it shouldn't have been necessary in the first place really..!

FOLKS, don't get fooled by these ads. I ordered and from then on all REGRETS. very limited menue in both operating systems , so your hands are closed, in android you have access to 12gb of storage, s-pen is not as accurate as others so you can't write like a pen or pencil unless you draw like a chuck or marker onthe bord slowly and in large scale, s-pen makes sounds like a horse waking on the pavement, just headache, takes ages to boot up, keyboard is quite heavy. don't waste your money and time, if you buy a second hand Samsung or Ipad will have less headack.

SS SY oh come on man, the reason you buy this is just only becaue of price. samsung pad and Ipad are not its rival.

Poor comment. Like any piece PC running Windows 10, it needs to be tuned to.fit your needs. Unfortunately it needs a little more tuning than a laptop or high end tablet but for the sake of a few hours, one time configuration, this tablet is exceptional. It's biggest flaw lies with the poor inbuilt speakers. That's it. The rest are software issues which are easily rectified with a bit of research and common sense.
