That looks like a good setup. There's some detailing needed at 17:44-17:48. Detailing is one of the 4 steps to a clean window; wet/scrub, squeegee, detail, inspection. granted the detailing mentioned is much less, it still is needed. I prefer only enough soap needed in the solution, too much can leave some residue, too little no glide. Great videos.

I love using red razr rubber. I've tried the others, Moerman rubber being the absolute worst but put red rubber in your liquidators and it's perfect.

I absolutely love the moermon excelerator fliq such a time saver No detailing which makes life easy .I don't understand how people struggle to use the tool I practiced on my kitchen door window and was able to do it with my eyes closed that's how easy is it. But I guess some people are quicker learners than others.

Great, comprehensive video -thank you! I hope the liquidator fits in the old Unger BOAB i have. I guess with the flick-pad attached it would just go in the applicator holding section? Round where I am in the South West (UK), all the supply places only seem to sell Unger, for some reason?! I guess that means buying from Window Cleaning Warehouse online, if that's the best place? started my window cleaning business just under 2 yes ago,, so I'm still a newbie,,,, I use mainly unger s channels, but after watching this review and watching you use it in most of your other vids, this product is obviously the way forward for zero detailing and speed , I,m ordering 1 from wcw on Monday with the fliQ pad, have been told it takes a bit of getting used to, so looking forward to putting it to use and getting used to it, thanks for the info trad man

Thanks mate, wish I knew that sooner, last week I ordered a phantom wfp,, and also bought the new phantom fireblade trad starter kit also after watching the vid you done on that,, any chance of you doing a quick video on it, think it would be good for people who are thinking about starting up a window cleaning business. I much prefer to do all my customers trad, i use wfp for awkward windows and that's about it,, I tend to use it for my extra work, pvc cleaning and gutters more than anything,, used to climb ladders and carry a damp scrim and clean it all by hand, wfp cuts that time down by half. Does the moerman take a bit of practise to get used to as when I was trained, and then started SHINE'Z WINDOW CLEANING,,have always used fixed squeege. I've booked Tuesday off to spend the day practising with it on my own property 🙂

Yeah the moerman tools have a learning curve, stick in and you'll master it. Soap on the applicator for good solution and your good to go 😉

@@TradMan cheers for the info and taking time to reply back,, I opted for the moerman exelorator 2.0 and the fliQ pad 14 inch and then got a 12 liquidator 2.0for the smaller windows , yh I've been watching how you add the soap to the applicator instead of the bucket, really enjoying you channel Pete, the content and info has been really useful. Not often you see pro window cleaners giving the advice and tips you do . Seen your new unger vid aswell mate looking fresh 👌😎

Silly question, I’ve just bought the Moerman 3.0 and don’t fully understand the angles, I generally use 25 in hand and 0 on a pole. Any advice appreciated, and thank you for being a great help with your videos from Australia

Thanks for the video. I’ve watched you and Polz for a long time. For your British windows the tool is perfect. Bob of course give designing advice to Moerman with these windows in mind. We’re I live (Sweden) we got a lot of wooden framed windows, a lot of French panes. I’ve seen you on some videos displaying how the liquidator works on wooden framed windows but those windows still doesn’t look like ours. I’ve tried liquidators on those but the water bleeds out from the window a moment after + the rubber quickly wears out. It’s a good product but I don’t think it’s a all round tool for the whole world.

I do use a 14 but only if the windows are at least twice the width and height of the 14 but we have so many jobs that have small medium and large windows all in the same job i carry both the 10 and 14 inch channel and fliq on me at all times ;)

I find my handle often moves along the channel and the rubber.. Going to use up my hard rubber I purchased and goto soft rubber. I've heard hard rubber is good in got weather

Just started using the excelerator and I've found the moerman rubber wears at the edge almost instantly after only a few windows. Put the ettore in and hoping for better results.

Howdy, I've been using your videos as my self training how-to for my new window cleaning business. A lot of my windows (US) are large and are best served with an 18 inch squeegee. So I've been messing around with the 18 inch liquidator and excellerator. I wet the applicator and soap the applicator and with just the right mix I can clean the Windows with no lines, but it's a struggle. Does this get easier with practice or do you avoid using an 18 inch liquidator? Oh yeah I'm using ettore soft rubbers that I cut myself. Same for my 14 inch, but I don't have struggles with the 14 inch.

michael gray hey buddy! The 18 inch is harder to use but sounds like your doing every thing right. The longer the channel the more pressure you need to apply. Remember that the longer channels loose pressure at the ends. There is a way to make things a bit easier. I'll get the video for you...

I can cope with this moerman fliq... I leave a line down the right side almost every time? And I can straight pull 3 times as quick with a Sorbo 75cm than using the fliq in a fanning technique.... I just can’t get along with moerman no matter how much I try 🙈

Trad lets be honest here that the Fairy and/or Dawn detergent technique is one that leaves a substantial residue that is more than visible in semi and direct sunlight...There are plenty of windows that dont fall into that category because of the angle of the sun and the property layout. GG4 is what i had been using with the liquidator and the results were OK but not always perfect because of the lack of working setup... All Im saying is here in the US where a vast majority of residential is annual AKA first time cleans that require more attention then say route work glass you and Bob (Polz) are cleaning. How can this tool be sold as the pinnacle device when it leaves the glass streaky?

jason thomas i work on not only regular jobs but one off cleans and loads of first cleans. The tool works prefect with the right setup and practice. In the uk we have every kind of window under the sun and all different kinds of coatings. Loads of folks from all over the world including the usa find the tool second to none. Stick with with the tool, you may just need more time with it

jason thomas hey dude, I use the liquidator with gg4, have to say I have no issues, I can’t be doing with putting the soap direct on my mop, Try putting a little rinse aid in the mix and use the red razor rubber.... do all that and the squeegee kicks butt!

White Knight can you please let me know what supplier you get the red razor rubber? I use the Moerman soft rubber it comes with and I always get arched lines left on the middle of the window. So I think I need to change the rubber I am using.

Great review. Just one question I have. I have just purchased my first Fliq pad in preparation for a job next week but it doesn't seem to sit nicely over the top like the one you show. So I thought about fitting it underneath which seems to work better. Am I doing anything wrong? It all seems to be clipped nicely but maybe it's just because it's new and will be better with use. PS. I really love the Liquidator. I'm new to window cleaning so not getting perfect results yet but I can already see the difference and it is so much easier to use.

The liquidator takes time to master. Even one or two of the well known window cleaning RU-vidr's can't use it due to lack of time practicing with it. If you stick in you'll get 100% results everytime. Just takes patience and time

hatch mojo the 10 fits most windows as here in the UK we get jobs that have loads of different sizes of windows including very small ones.

So I've been using unger since Ive started and just bought their ninja kit. It's been a month of using it and I'm finding that the BoB has left my rubber a Crease so before I swap back to my standard unger gear I just wanted your opinion on Morman equipment since I know you use them a lot. Moerman squeegees eliminate the need to detail the glass and at the moment is the only squeegees that can do so. Along with the options to change angles and be in fixed or swivel mode, its the most advanced tool there is... but it has a learning curve many can't use them as it requires more precise control, perhaps buy one and try it for a few weeks then if you like it buy a few more 😉

Sure no problem The excelerator is the name of the squeegee handle The liquidator is the name of the squeegee channel (the long part that holds the rubber) Any other questions feel free, happy to help

@@TradMan hey trad. When you wash windows with a lot of soap. You know, the method of putting a thin line of soap on each side of the applicator. Doesn't more attract more dirt and debris faster? Greetings from Denmark 😁🇩🇰.

Its just a lot more runny and doesn't give as good slip on the glass as putting soap on the applicator does

You must either not have them on properly or you have version one of the Liquidator which is over half a dozen years old. The latest channels have clips that don't come off without using a flat Screwdriver

was brand new and as it came. i used it but couldnt get it to sweep the glass clean[ tried few ways ] and the shop then just refunded me.

I didn`t like it either, it kept on sticking at the top of the window frame, I`ll still to Unger basic tools, and if that`s zero detailing, let me know when they bring out the minus one.
