May I know what cable are you using to connect the monitor to your laptop ? Does the cable included in your purchase ?

The cable is type c to type c transfer it comes with the monitor !

@@salesspice I bought the P2525H monitor, it doesn't support type c to type c connection. The provided cable in the box cannot be used to input my MacBook 2020. Sigh....

Very nicely made video.. am planning to purchase this monitor for the fact that i have limited desk space.. Hows it while working ? does it have flicker or any other issue in past months while using ? Ill be using it for video editing in Premiere Pro, and watching netflix... is it enough for usage? thanks in advance.

Hey there!! No flicker as of yet and don’t think there will be! If you have the extra budget I would go with the Ultrasharp series instead of the professional series! It is a lot nicer with colours for editing etc!

My daughter just graduated college and starting a job as financial analyst and needs a 3 monitor set up at her house. I was thinking of a central 27 inch and 2 portrait 24 inches on the sides. Considering she is mostly doing spreadsheet type work, I didn't know how important it is to do 4K? I assume best to do same resolution for all three? I have a Dell 19TB hub but not sure if daisy chain monitors into hub, if monitors like this with hubs more easily daisy chain? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Awww congratulations to your daughter! She asked for three monitors? What about having a large monitor with display manager so that she can cut it into three? I used to always have three but moved to two 32 inch monitors and love it! Depending on the budget I would either just go with the P series but if you have a little more to spend I would absolutely go with the UltraSharp monitor, 4K isn’t necessary for work unless she wants to watch videos. The Hub makes it super easy to daisy chain! Just make sure whatever you are connecting them to can power three. Excited for her!

Hello. Is there a way to turn the charging off once your laptop is fully charged? Isn't it bad to leave your laptop connected to a power source at all times?

@@jack.satori most modern laptops have got autocutoff once charging reaches 100% or 90% , there are options available in the power settings of laptop.

I was just going to upgrade my ultrasharp to the u2424he but that new P2425he with contrast ratio at 1500:1 PLUS 100hz. What a huge upgrade!! Can you tell us about this contrast ratio? did it make any difference?

@@yanisyukams6680 i bought u2424he, I believe it is still a better option. Didnt get it yet but it is on the way. I think the next versiom of this u24 will come with IPS Black and its 2000 ratio. And i will upgrade again kkkk

I have the U2424HE. It’s been great so far. The only reason I went for it because of the flexibility to adjust the display temperature which I always prefer it and set it 10000k. My eyes are happy with it.

hi I have the Dell P2425E (no H) and I'm trying to get PIP (Picture in Picture) to work on my Mac. I installed DDPM (dell display peripheral manager) for Mac (different than DDM which is for windows) - DDPM says that PIP is an option on the dell info webpage, but it does not show up as an option in the software. Any insight? Thanks. I have a Mac mini connected via USB-C and a Nintendo switch connected via HDMI, both connected to my Dell P2425E. but don't see an option for Picture in Picture anywhere.

Sadly in my country dell only have the new p2425H not the HE with the usb hub =( I bought the P2422H after your review I love this monitor I want to upgrade only my screen and use the same dell stand now

Thanks for your comment. Great monitor for multi use because it support multiple video input, has lots of orientation features. For watching movie it is maybe a little bit on the small side, but it all depends on the space and distance from the screen you have.

No. You can attach a dell soundbar to the bottom. Eg sb522a. They are small speakers and a bit disappointing.

If you're using the monitor with laptop lid closed, will turning on the monitor turn on the laptop or do you need to open the laptop lid and turn it on that way?

It should have power sync and turn on the laptop. Introduced in 2022

@@AndyK.1 What about if you're using a modern non-Dell laptop? Dell says it's compatible with Dell laptops that have DPBS (Dell power button sync).
