Thanks for taking the time to review a knife that does not cost an arm and a leg. Not everyone wants to pay the high prices that too many knife companies are asking for their products. I would never pay $500 for a folding pocket knife no matter what exotic materials it is made from. Benchmade's new releases ... give me a break

well worth it. still my EDC. edit: 8Cr14MoV is a good budget steel. Ganzo's heat treatment takes the blades to 59HRC and they are very corrosion resistant. give it a strop once a day and all is fine. edge rolls, doesn't chip. helps you keeping your sharpening skills. edge comes back pretty easily.

RU-vid is pretty bad that way. I haven't quite been "rocking" out the reviews this year because I am feeling quite ill, but I am slowly getting better.

I think if you cut lightening holes in the liners, it would actually move the balance point further forward, not further back like you said. 8:39

I’ve been really impressed with Ganzo’s 440 steel. Great budget knives. I use them to throw in checked luggage, if they disappear I don’t lose any sleep.

They do a great job on their 440C, but they have been focusing on D2 for most of their new models these days, but they are the best brand I know of for making knives that are good enough to buy yet it doesn't really hurt if they go missing.
