I've wanted a hottub for about 7 yrs .. I always wanted the maldive but the I purchases the santorini back in June and omg it's amazing. I love the built in seats . It's huge !!! I could prob get 8 of me in at ones . I love the lights but they stop working and when I take apart (which is really hard ) to get to the propeller... there is hair wrapped around it . So they do stop working but can be fixed.. I'm so glad I waited and got this tub .. I just wish I could heat with hydrojets on. Be aware its a massive tub and it's expensive to run . Def recommend insulating the bottom of tub and a jacket around and top .. I absolutely love mine and struggle to get out ! Can't wait to use mine in the snow ⛄️. Happy tubbing 😉😊
That looks like a great value. We have a SoftTub and it doesn't have seats or as many bubble sources, but it does have a quieter pump (it costs 3-4 times as much.)
Great video Adam. I bought the Santorini a couple of weeks ago and absolutely love it. Your right about the noise especially with the bubbles, a tad noisy and something I’m sure they could sort out in the future.
Hi, congratulations for the video. I wanted to ask you something. I purchased a Bestway Maldives Hydrojet Pro. I notice that the water filtering power is very low. In practice it seems that nothing comes out of the filtered water outlet. In my opinion this function would make the application of products inside the chemconnect useless. Can you explain to me how this filtering system works or if it is normal for a small amount of water to also come out of the hydromassage nozzles when the filtering system alone is turned on? Hi Adam! Great video. Would you be able to let me know what the cap on the outside of the liner at the top is for? I thought it was when the water is too high but mine is now leaking air? The hydrojets are also leaking air so I am patching each one up. Only 1 year old but lay z spa won't help as I hire it out. Any advice would be great as its a shame to throw away. Would just use for personal use now. Thank you!
Great vid. They have listen to people i guess about the wifi. I have seen the new 2023 models (included 3 new hydrojet pro's with the best one San Francisco hydrojet pro 230x230 square size) all comes with wifi!
I bought it last year and sadly they don’t offer a wifi module to upgrade it. Would need to buy the whole pump unit which is almost 50% of the whole thing. The filter performance is terrible (I assume it’s the same unit used in my much smaller previous tub, just not sufficient for the big one) and it’s awfully loud. Really regret the purchase.
@@danicalifornia5563 as i said the wifi module is only on the 2023 hydrojet pro pumps. I have the San Francisco hydrojet pro and comes with wifi, its the best of the best tub on the market for sure

Hi, it’s around 2.5kW when heating and bubbles are on. Using a power bank wouldn’t be great tbh as wouldn’t last very long even if you had a large Ecoflow model. You could use it for air bubbles and filter pump etc but most efficient way to heat would be using a solar water heater, loads of videos on here regarding this.
I love this product but have two issues, the 1st one is I'm on to my 2nd Santorini, the first one which is still under guarantee, has a slow air leak and no matter what I do, I can't locate the air leak so I can't claim under the guarantee, any suggestions? & secondly, how do I get the last drops of water out the hot tub before refreshing with clean new water?
There is a manufactured defect and they know about it and they haven’t done anything about it. I wrote a review on Canadian tires website a gentleman wasted almost 1400 they replace the liner once and the same thing happened 5 mths later and the representative told him that there is a defect with that model. & nothing can be done to help him. Buyer beware
They’re quite firm and sturdy enough to stand on. Sometimes I sit in front of the seats to gain extra depth in tub. It’s a very large tub so loads of room if there’s only a couple of people in it.
They're quite similar, although the Santorini has more air jets. I think the biggest decisions are about design - do you want a circular or square hot tub, and do you prefer a white or blue patterned interior.
Hi Adam. Great video. We just ordered our Santorini and it’s on the way. Can’t wait!!🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 Question, so it can not heat and run Hydro jet at the same time correct? Can it run air jets and heat at the same time?. Also it says 180 air jets and you said 100. Can you give me some information on that. I did see in another video that it has freeze protect. Is that a good feature and have you experience results with that. Thanks again, Jeff
You're right about the things that can and cannot go on at the same time - it's either heater or hydro jets at the same time as air jets. And, yes, there's 180 of them. I've not used the freeze protect as I pack away for winter, but the idea is the heater will turn on automatically if left in 'standby' mode i.e. turned on but not running, if the water temp drops too low. This will prevent any damage from frost or ice.
@@SailingAquila thanks Adam. I’ve also considering an Immersion heater to suspend into the water to speed up the heating this winter. I’ll put a pole across the tub and so as to not let the element touch the tub itself. I live on the southeastern coast of the USA and our winters are pretty moderate anyway. ☺️
Hello Adam. I cannot get my Hydros and air jets to work together. I know the hydros will not share the power together. But I can’t get the two to run together with the heat off or anything. Can you please help. Thanks🤷
@jeffjones5432 Hey Jeff, I have the same issue, just got the Santorini and can't run jets and air at the same time! Have you figured anything out on this? I asked another RU-vidr who has the Hawaii with jets and air and he said his can't do it either. I'm wondering it's a UK model vs US model thing 🤔
@@TracyHess03 yes. That only in UK that it will work. Their on 220 configuration. USA is 110 configuration. Allows them to run twice the power functions.
The Maldives comes with seats in, but I think the rest of the models don't. The seats are great in that they are a little more comfortable and you can put you feet more underneath yourself. Also, they make it better if there's more of you in the tub as your legs don't cross over each other as much. However, they also lift you out of the water so you need a tub with more depth or your shoulders stick out the water more.
I’ve been following your good advice about spa matenance but I just discovered lots of clear slime pieces floating in the water - have I keep it covered too much and too hot ? Thanks, any advice would be appreciated
Can't say for sure of the cause, but do a dip test and see if it tells you there's a problem. Often low chlorine causes slime. Don't worry about too hot or covering it too much. Do make sure you're using a chemconnect or float to maintain chlorine levels between uses.
Also do you happen to know if it’s standard to be able to run the air jets and the heater at the same time on the best way/lazy spa models? Another comment said you can’t run the hydrogens in the air dress at the same time is that true?
On the Hydrojet Pro models, you can run the air jets and heater at the same time, or the air jets ands hydrojets at the same time. You cannot run the hydrojets and heater at the same time. On the Air Jet models you can't run the heater and air jets at the same time.
This none in the video has a bad reviews of a defect with the liner & the they know but won’t help if the 1 year warranty is expired they did replace one for a gentleman but 5 mths later same thing happen but no help from the company wasted $1400
Ive had a maldives Pro for about 3 years now , I've currently gone thru 3 inflatable lids I love my lazy spa, it's built well, but why why why the fck don't they make the blow up lid out of the same material they make the tub out of, the current desighn of the lids is so fckn flimsy, please for fck sake sum one from lazy spa hear us when we say youre lids are crap and please do sumthing about them
