I live in Australia and Ive had my Lay Z Spa Santorini going since March 10th this year, overall its a great hot tub and if looked after proper should last a long time, I got my chemicals from a pool store and they did not come cheap, my one issue with the Lay Z Spas is the cover, my inflatable insulator only lasted 5 months before it deflated completely, aside from the problem with the lid, its an amazing spa
Oh also in my personal opinion, the chem connect on the hydrojet model spas are useless because there's not enough water flowing through, multiple pool and spa stores recommended only using chlorine granules specifically for spas, pool chlorine in a spa is harsher on the eyes and doesn't last as long
It looks so relaxing with all the lights. How’s it going with all the chemicals? I’ve thought about one for our garden but don’t know how much upkeep it is xx
It took a long time to get the chemicals right. They are the hardest part. We haven't needed to buy anything new since we bought it a few months ago. It costs about £7 on a day we use it and £2 on a day it just sits there x
I would never buy one again. Every week you have to inflate it a bit. Therefore you have to disconnect the entire pump. Then the water blockers don't work correctly so half your water is lost every week. It's a horrible design. Buy something else.
@@lesserleeking we haven’t had to pump it up at all. Have you checked the screw parts are on tight enough. And we have only needed to refill after a good clean out. I’m sorry your experience hasn’t been good but just wanted to let you know that mine has been brilliant since we bought it 😊
@@LotteRoach that's really strange cause other reviews and even the manual talks about losing air over time is normal. They also talk about the inner bit but that stays hard in mine strangely enough. You must have the best one! 💪
