You actually get used to it pretty quick. I live half a block down from the biggest station in my city, much bigger than this one, and I barely even notice it anymore, I hear it so much.

This was by far the best one I've gotten, everything went right. Reserve engine, perfect lighting, wet roads, and best of all, I was there to film it. Not sure what the chances of this happening again are.

I was able to film some full station responses in NYC, and also at some tiny station in Germany, but it will never ever happen at the career fire department in my home town. With more than 40 units being housed there, they have a larger fleet than station crew. Really exceptional was a full station response at the main fire station in the Danish capital city of Copenhagen with 9 apparatus responding

my 10 days trip to NYC was planned as business trip but hurricane Sandy somehow forced us to make new plans ^^ I took the plane to Copenhagen (less than an hour flight from Hamburg in northern Germany) in order to film during New Year's Eve. And well in my home town ... I filmed almost everything so far, but some few things simply won't happen. Currently the station is rebuilt even larger than it was until now: until now it had 47 truck bays, in the future it will have 55 truck bays. It was and will be the largest one in the state

55 Truck bays... A full station response at that would be uh, interesting to say the least. This video is the largest station in Santa Cruz, there are 3 others in the district but they only house one engine each.

There is a type 3 brush rig, and an ancient rescue that is not in service. That house is home to the type 1, the truck and the battalion chief. A total of 6 FFs, and the Chief. Occasionally 7 FF if the engine has an extra FF that day.

Maybe radio frequency. Red for fireground and blue for water supply. Not sure of their protocols but MABAS has color frequencies for radio assignments.

The rescue on the left is an old rescue used only in drills. The one behind the battalion chief is the type 3 brush rig. The brush rig isn't dispatched to a structure response.

You need to look up "full station" you can't have a full station run if two units are left behind. Yea, yea yea I know they are not being used, but they are there so not a full station run.

Do like I do. When the description says FULL HOUSE! EVERYONE GOES! I know it’s a lie. So I try to guess how many apparatus will still be sitting in the station at the end of the video
