Sonny boy was the problem. HE never told his intended or her family he didn't own the house. HE DISOWNED HIMSELF. When HE allowed his in-laws to exclude his BLOOD FAMILY from the wedding. FAFO

In laws mess it up everytime. The son failed to recognize those high flying RED FLAGS. OP did the right thing.
