FULL Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show REACTION!! | OFFICE BLOKES REACT!! 

I thoroughly enjoyed the show, Snoop is the only person in America who can get away with showing up in full crip attire, throw gang signs and crip walking (a dance) at the Super Bowl.

The smile and pure joy on Anderson Paak's face while he played the drums during EM's set was cool AF. That man was having the time of his life. Great show an reaction fellas.

Fun Facts for you guys: 1.Dre was the center of the show. Dre was the one who launched Snoops career during the Death Row days. Eminem and Kendrick Lamar are singed to Dre's record label, Aftermath. 50 cent (1 pound, fifty) is signed to Eminem's label imprint, Shady/Aftermath. Dre also co-wrote and produced the first song Mary J. performed on her set, "Family Affair" 2.The map on the field was of Compton, California. The city where Dre and NWA repped. 3. The blue you see Snoop Dogg in is to rep his gang affiliation with the Crips. They wear blue. (The NFL didn't want him to wear it, but, he's Snoop... 😂) The other big one was the Bloods, which wear red. The big gang wars were between them back in the 90s and 2000's. They have slowed down significantly, but they are still around. The dance Snoop was doing was called the Crip Walk or C-walking. The foot movements traditionally spell out C-R-I-P, but can spell out other words as well, like Bloods, their rival, and then crossed out to show disrespect. It was made popular by another Crip/rapper, WC (Dub-C) 4. Anderson Paak (Eminem's drummer on the set. Also part of Silk Sonic with Bruno Mars and a solo artist) was a special guest performer along with 50 cent. 5. Currently Dre is worth $850 million. Third richest rapper, Jay Z is on the top with over a billion, last I saw it was $1.4 billion. 6.The NFL told Eminem they didn't want him to kneel, symbolizing social injustice, They still are reeling over the Colin Kaepernick problem from when he did it. But, it's Em, not like they were going to be able to stop him. 7. Jay Z wrote the last song Dre performed, "Still Dre" (The NFL didn't want him to add the part about not loving police either, but, we see they lost that one too....😂) 8. Jay Z was the one who set up and produced this show with his partnership with the NFL. 9. This was the first majority Hip Hop show ever put on for the half-time show in history. 10. The Super Bowl halftime show is 12-15 minutes, halftime is 20 to 30 minutes. Regular season halftime is usually 15 minutes. 11. Lastly, nobody got paid for this show. I think Dre even kicked in $7 or $8 million of his own money to put this on. Most artist don't. If they do, it's Union scale minimum, about $1000 a day. Dancers gear a couple hundred a day and some for rehearsals. Then the filler volunteer dancers or crowds just get to be there.

When Dre played the piano it was to honor Tupac, while Eminem kneeled. Also, the map was of Compton with the courthouse on one end and the monument to Martin Luther King Jr. on thee other end. Both are in downtown Compton. It was good to see Dre perform, especially after his brain aneurysm last year.

Thus far I have watched this performance five times and will probably watch a few more times. I loved it so much! As a huge fan of all of them from day one I feel proud of them. They represent extreme talent, longevity, fierceness. And Mary J is a fashion icon! Sis looked amazing!

You guys need to watch some iconic halftime shows of the past such as Prince, Michael Jackson, U2 and many others.

I went to the Superbowl with my brother! The halftime show was well worth the price of admission. Being kids who grew up during the 90s in LA it was a huge nostalgia bomb!! The energy in the stadium wasn't conveyed in the broadcast but the stadium was absolutely BUMPIN! They displayed a countdown timer and set up the show at the start of half time so people had time to get drinks and use the bathroom. There were guys walking around with cold beers and a beer station pretty close to every section so it didn't take long to get refreshments before the show.

I probably shouldn't have gotten my hopes up by expecting Mike to start Crip walking.. Damn.

Fun fact: The stage they used for this halftime show was based off of local places in the surrounding areas of Los Angeles, the Compton Court house and statue, Randy's Donuts & Tam's burgers

Knowing that Snoop was hangin with his bestie Martha Stewart right before the halftime show, gives me life!!!! Their relationship is everything great about the USA.

These guys have been around for Decades! Only Kendrick is the Young Blood of the performance. Amazing how this was done. For Europe to have this for of show, you would need to find artists that speak to multiple generations. It can be done.

The Brits have amazing musicians to do shows like this during a sport break. We have had the Rolling Stones as our halftime show and one of the best was done by U2 just after 9/11 and they did it with respect.

All these artists are from the same label too and Dr Dre had a hand at some point in their careers Snoop Dog now owns the label. Just the influence this man has had in so many artist careers and noting the fact he had an aneurysm less than a year ago proves he's a legend!!! Definitely one of the best halft time shows ever! So glad they honored him & gave all these artist their well deserved recognition before they're not with us any longer...great show!!!

It was definitely a good show. Fun facts: they told Snoop not to represent his gang affiliations and he did, he just added the yellow to make it look like Ram colors. ( He even did the Crip walk). And they told Eminem not to take a knee and he did anyway. Prince's halftime show will always be the top. The only time it ever rained during a Superbowl and he sang purple rain. 💜

The layout of the show set and ground beneath is the City Of Compton. You also see it on Dr. Dre's palm in the beginning. The building that blows up when Em comes on is the Compton Courthouse. Tam's Burgers is where Suge Knight lost his freedom.

While this is great music it’s also about more than that. The NFL has had and is still (like the rest of the US) having to come to terms with their part in anti- Black racial inequality and white supremacy. These are artist who were/are absolutely hated in many parts of our country, particularly for their truth telling and pro Black vision.

Fun Fact one year after: The map is the city of Compton and their stage are buildings, business that were famous in Compton back in the day. Toms burgers where we used to hang out and Eve After Dark where Dre dj'd.

Dr. Dre suffered an aneurysm one year ago, which could have killed him or left him with serious mental/physical impairments. Thank God, it appears he has made a full and complete recovery.

All halftime acts play to one side, marching bands, singers, etc.. the ground was the streets of Compton where some of them have roots in. I heard the three cars had the hydraulic lifts to have them bouncing, but the NFL told them they could not incase if they broke and oil from the Hydraulic pistons got all over that area of the field, they could not play the game anymore. normal games are a 15 minute halftime, but super bowl its 30 minutes.. You guys need to react to Princes half time show, that was great one! it starts to rain during purple rain.

There was nothing wrong with this halftime show, but I'm ready for a Metallica or something for the halftime show. It's now been 12 years since a proper rock band did it, the last time was The Who in 2010.
