We are here to party with Dr. Dre, Snoop, Mary J., Eminem, Kendrick.... and surprisingly 50 Cent?!? Enjoy our reaction to the #SuperBowl #HalftimeShow for the third year in a row! We love you all!
People believe that for a show to be fantastic there must be waste and consumer excesses like the katy perry show. Let me tell you that the most important thing about a superbowl is the artistic quality, the energy and the staging. They all killed it! The show was very simple and humble! (in a little house) but that humble show leveled it with its musical quality and exceeded expectations. One of the best shows of the superbowl in my humble opinion being objective.
I think Anderson.Paak being included, playing drums for Eminem's set and then until the show ended, was one of the teased "surprises." 50cent was more recognized and rapped, so some people think he was the only surprise.
Ladies Dr. Dre was the feature. He produced many of those songs. He is responsible for Em & fifty start in rap . He and Snoop Dogg started out together. He produce Mary J song. This was a west coast vibe to include 2Pac.
You mean Snoop started out with Dr Dre... Dre was already pretty big from NWA. Snoop and him were the perfect combo after that though to go to that next level for sure.
This halftime show of Super Bowl 56 is awesome 👏🏾 LEGENDARY RAPPERS Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Eminem and LEGENDARY SINGERS Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar had a wonderful performance at the Super Bowl 56
Yes! Girls! Tams hamburger, eve after dark, dale donuts, Compton court house…. It was lit! The Compton cheerleaders, the musicians are all famous locally…. The crip signs and walk
Love your reaction! Don't feel bad for 50. The reason why he wasn't in any of the promotion was because it was meant to be a surprise so it was all great in the end.
@@KingKeiigh true. I knew that already, but somewhere along the line he agreed to let 50 perform. Yet he still wasn't in the promotion. Unless they just didn't have time to add him in any of the promotion.
..what a smashing group of girlfriends singing & dancing along to an impressive half time set... the football means nothing to me (am from UK so am into soccer ⚽️ ball) ...but these musicians do.. they are my era... thanks again for sharing this 🤗
Tam's Burgers is where Suge did that hit n run, Eve's After Dark is where nwa met, Snoop was in his mama's living room (pics on the wall), Dre was in his studio and the set also was supposed to look similar to a trailer, and they were on top an actual map of Compton.. so yes..it not as overwhelming, but they put way more thought into their set and it was Dre's showcase. He had a hand in Snoops, Ems and 50's success..and he revived MaryJs career. 50 wasn't on the list to perform bc he wasn't supposed to. Em gave up more of his time, so they could add 50 in the show. Of course everyone wanted more Em but this was not Em's show, it was Dre's. Kendrick payed the most homage. The dancers had Shady's hair, the uniforms were similar to MJs halftime, he also wore 1 glove. When the camera was looking down they were marching as letters and shapes. So, jayz us the one that made the show happen. So, there was H (hov), M (Marshall), 5pt star, S (snoop), and of course D (dre) . *Oh and that girl in the black def got some 8 mile in her 😅
Em The Goat Of Hip Hop Forever!👊🏽🙌🏽🐐🔥🔥🔥✨(He killed it I’ll put this in the Top 3 of SuperBowl Performances fasho MJ will always have The Greatest SuperBowl Performance Of All Time! Btw when the crowd of extras ran up to Em in the hoodies and lights it reminded me of the actual “Lose Yourself” Music Video/8Mile Movie)
One NAME: Mary J Blige - The LEGENDARY QUEEN of Hip Hop Soul and R&B! And with that we see the importance of honoring the true legends of the history of the arts, those who founded the path!
You gotta love snoop...nfl says easy on the colors and gangs...no blue bandana for Crips...so he wears a huge blue bandana (look at the print) and crip walks the entire show! LOL Love and Respect to all 6 performers for the best we've ever seen in 56 years!
@@alexxxav7227 The Crip Walk, also known as the C-Walk, is a dance move that was created in the 1970s by first-generation Crip member Robert "Sugar Bear" Jackson and has since spread worldwide. The dance is primarily an act of performing quick and intricate footwork. The rivalry between the Crips and the Bloods spilled over into the world of entertainment, with the adoption of the gang dance by various rappers on the West Coast of the United States, who gave it its name, the Crip Walk. This dance involves the movement of one's feet, classically to the spelling of C-R-I-P (refer C Walk). It was used by Crips at parties to display affiliation, particularly vis-a-vis rival gang the Bloods. It was also used after killing someone to give the kill a Crip signature. MTV declined to broadcast any music videos that contained the Crip Walk.[2] The Crip Walk originated in the 1970s in Compton, a suburb of Los Angeles, California.
People question Dre and Snoop and others for their lifestyle and the things they have done. In the streets life survival celebration is see the 🌞 another day. It the way of life. It can destroy you or make you stronger. These ladies are nothing but 🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️
I live around around thw corner...at the time I was bruh I got work in the morning, Love Inglewood...Da Wood all day, but it was a rough work shift the next day 😅
fucking finally got to see it. and HELLL YYEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!! that's how its done!!! and to think I grew up when it all was just starting in the Bronx on Sedgwick Ave! feeling blessed to witness this in my lifetime as all music, yes all!!! (rock and roll included!) come from the roots of these brothers and their forefathers!!!! I'm a NYC Harlemite for life! but Dr. DRE and the West Coast fams have just made HISTORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great reactions! keep it up chicas!!!!
You gotta laugh at the criticisms of the halftime show and where it originates from. The NFL is 70% Black. But somehow you see something wrong with having Black culture during the halftime show? Eminem was told he couldn't kneel (even tho it was to pay homage to Tupac), but he knelt anyway. Snoop was told that he couldn't have a blue bandana in his back pocket, so he wore an entire blue bandana outfit, crip walked, and threw up his set. Dre was told that he had to take out the negative references to police in his lyrics, but he left it in anyway. All of these artistic expressions reflect the reality of the Black experience in America, and I loved it. Note: Did you notice the whole floor was a MAP OF COMPTON??? Em gave up one of his songs so 50 could be added to the show.
Y’ll are cracking me up ! Maya Angelou said keep your female friendships , men come and go … love y’all. Those notes Dre played at the end was from a Tupac song I Ain’t Mad at Ya
Amén, Maya is a legend and we definitely agree with those words. We have all been friends since childhood ain’t nothing gonna change. Tupac is truly one of the greatest rappers of all time!! Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for commenting 😊
@@thetrihardgirls ohhh that’s awesome, stay loyal, honest, and truthful friends … I swear I thought Tupac was going to appear when they sung California lol… then when Dre played if few keys of PAC’s I Ain’t Mad at Ya , ohh I wanted to see Pac on last time . I felt a deep sense of sadness when I heard those notes ! Be Well Stay Strong !
Besides the show that was the best ever! You all girls are amazing! I had really fun! Btw...the girl of the right, woah I fall in love!! She is superb...
(2:20) It would’ve been better if that rumored 2Pac hologram would appear during this part of the performance. Had PAC lived, he’d have performed this song without question right alongside Dre.
