I still remember summer of 2011, have just gotten my first normal internet connection (modem) and 11 year old me was watching youtube, and I came across this video. That was exact moment that made spark in my interest in cars and racing in general, and I only played driving games from that moment on, trying to recreate this exact feeling. There were no much games that would be able to recreate something like this, but now it is possible, because of community of assetto corsa, they have created 1:1 replica of shutoko, tokyo and now I am driving there everyday. Thank you very much everyone.
Me too, back in 2011 I was just a child and i spent days watching this video so often that i downloaded it and burned it on a dvd just to play it everywhere lol. 23 years later I crowned my childhood and life dream driving down the Wangan on a R34 and some friends i met there, it still feels like a daydream.
I hate that in America people say they street race when all they really do is straight line, I think this is way cooler and takes more skill. Keep it up!
The 18 people who disliked this video are ones who think street racing is bad and dangerous and dont appreciate the work that goes into and the beauty of these cars
Yea theyre nice till cars you got to replace the rotary in it 24/7 all i see for sale is rolling shells and blown rotarys and turbos thats why i bought a 350z
so, You're welcome... again :) this video never gets old. Here's some similar "Wangan Illegal Street Racing 湾岸違法ストリートレーシング" I can also recommend You other vids from "jdmriding" channel.
@@jasondelrey4652 same here, after 20 years i ended back watching and saving content from the Japanese 80-90's culture. Imposible to forget about the best highway in the world and maybe the best decade ever in the human history.
@jeremysaccount You are correct however, I was simply giving credit to (what I believe) is one of Japan's greatest cars ever made; the Toyota Supra Turbo!
I was the second one to post this video. It originally was posted by a japanese guy in 2007 or 2008. Then in mid 2008 I posted this video on youtube and I labeled it the same as the title to this video."Full throttle japanese HIGHWAY street racing". But i had three strikes in copyright laws and youtube deleted my account.
