Wales lost 8 matches in a row. England beat New Zealand, the rugby world champions. I as a welshman truly expected an English grand slam, or at least the championship. Coming from 8 consecutive losses, then beatin the team that beat the world champions with such a dramatic result I have to ask "what the hell is going on"? I never seen wales play this good. I never seen a sporting event this entertaining/frustrating depending which side you support. I genuinely wanna say "WELL DONE WALES!" PTO
That would be 4 Championships in 8 Years my friend. Grand Slam 2005, 2008, 2012 and Championship winners in 2013. Lets hope there will be another before 2015.
What a fantastic game, Wales totally dominated England to win they're 3rd six nations title in 9 years. Wales now sit just 0.36 points below England in the world rankings at 5th place compared to 9th just 3 monthes ago, i'm a proud welsh supporter and know we have the team to beat a southern hemisphere side.
At times Wales can languish in mediocrity, but when they play well, they shine brighter than any star. A well deserved win for Wales, both for the championship, and the much more important honour of beating England!
Let this game show that we Welsh are the Force! The Team! The Nation! of the Northern Hemisphere when it comes to Rugby! We Live it! We Love it! Its our game!!
How did this England team ever beat the ABs, the way they played Wales, is bloody mind boggling. But then again they were playing rugby mad Wales he,he,he!
It was a fantastic game, really good running rugby.Wales players played with so much passion, they deserved this win.Walsh was okay too,i think he let the game flow and did not give hundreds of penalties,i agree he was wrong sometimes, but way better than Joubert or Barnes imo.
They were that good before they went there. The cash involved is monumental though. They certainly wernt in france in during the 2005, 2008 and 2011 campaigns....should I continue.
Cuthbert's first try can be blamed on Ben Youngs, instead of diving on the loose ball when Ken Owens ripped it, he turns to moan to the referee about something. What a footballer.
Experience counts, could be the worst thing we could have done to England as they need to be smarter at the breakdown and with playing the referee. That's how Richie McCaw does it, he isn't the best, he's just an expert at infringing but also playing the ref, it comes with experience and good to see that Wales have the know-how - a full Welsh side is one to be feared, unfortunately we had too many injuries in the Autumn tests. Many of these boys will be wearing Lions shirts for sure.
However as a welshman I am all too aware of the sides 8 consecutive defeats. England are very much like wales. 1 minute they play like champions, the next minute they are crucified. Only this time England suffered everything wales suffered with all those losses in pretty much 1 game.
WHO scripted this commentary / did the editing??? So much wrong in this. For instance, there was no unsuccessful drop goal by Biggar - you showed the same kick twice, from different angles and put one in the first-half and one in the second-half. Why don't you just throw in Scott Gibbs' try at Wembley if you're going to go that nuts with the cutting! Shameful effort.
The problem for Wales is that beating England is the pinnacle, they'd never perform like this against the SH triumvirate and thus will get nowhere near a world cup title.
Yeah,I agree. When they're at their best they're mesmorising to watch.Even though I am a Wales supporter I am saying that unbiasedly. The all blacks are mesmorising to watch when they're at their best!!
How can you justify Wales as being an 'awful rugby team'? Not one try was conceded by Wales in the whole tournament after the first half of the first game, against Ireland. Both Welsh attacking game and defence was ammence throughout, and by beating England by a record 27 points, I can't see how you can state Wales as being an awful team after completely and utterly outclassing England.
wow, opinion of one man suddenly changes the past and future of rugby, I can remember every Wales player easily outplaying their oposite in that match, If anyone England had "bad play". Tualagi is a one trick pony and Ashton is shockingly bad, farrel crumpled under the pressure and the front row were all bad. Watch the game properly and you will learn one day.
Years ago the English captain said the Administration of English rugby was run by a load of wankers. From the recent fiasco of the game with Wales it seems the team has 15 wankers.England come out puffing out thier chests and get creamed.Well done the Men in red.
Im just going to get my point across. very bitter english , ur golden boys are nothing special just purely over-rated Chris robshaw for instance what has he achieved internationally...Nothing yet. Owen Farrell not a worthy lion completely outplayed by Dan biggar. only there because of daddy. wait a minute could you even score i try against us last time ? embarrassing you stating something so far from right just makes you look naive and tunnel visioned.
England choked, France didn't bother this year, Ireland hammered Wales at home and had 53 players play in the 6 nations , scots will be a serious handful for Wales and Italy are going down hill fast , so Wales won the worst 6 nations even worse than last years, big deal
