One time when I was hiking with my at Garden of the Gods ...there was a Pow Wow down in the valley . The drums and singing echoed through the hills . It was hauntingly mesmerizing . And of course I visited the Pro Rodeo museum....my youngest son ( who lives in the Springs ) also rode bulls awhile back . 😊I love Colorado ! Heading back out this summer !
We definitely will- lots of people recommended those places. There's so much to see you just can't do it all, lol. Love the area, can't wait to go back!😊
Lol, I can only imagine how painful it is with a dually. Denver has been a little easier but it still hits ya when hiking 😆. Everyone says the zoo is awesome, we'll definitely check it out next time we are there- so much to see!😊
Try Manitou Springs, Pikes Peak, Cripple Creek and the Air Force Academy all are beautiful. Colorado Springs is nice also. Never figured you for a bull rider.

OMG, We were just at Garden Of The Gods on Thursday and Friday. We spent the night in the Castle. Garden of the Gods is the most AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, WONDERFUL place EVER!! Garden of the Gods is truly amazing, we just loved it too. We are in Denver right now and heading to Wyoming on Tuesday- hopefully our paths will cross someday! 😊

Im playing catch up on you folks and I had no idea how beautiful Cloarado Springs is. I !ove the Rodeo museum and I have got to check it out at some point...I use to follow Rodeo when I was there and you brought back great memories...Fun fact...George Straight team ropes with his son or he use to, not sure if they are still active. Your either one tuff cookie or crazy to get on a 2000lb....good on ya.
Oh my goodness I love Colorado Springs. I hope you went to the Air Force Academy. It so beautiful at the top of that mountain, and I think that is where I fell in love with the Air Force {sorry daddy}. My father was in the Marines and Army and I am more partial to the Air Force. Colorado Springs is so pretty and a wonderful place to visit. I hope you and your family have a wonderful day.
The first time my buddy saw me use of those old disposable cameras, he yelled out, check it out Joes taking pictures with a Cracker Jack box. :) It's not a matter of if your going to get hurt riding bulls, it's when.
Garden of the Gods is definitely on my bucket list. We are hitting the road in a couple of weeks and will pass through just north of this area on our way to Tennessee. Unfortunately, this time we won't have time to stop. Another great video!
We have been noticing a lot of deer in backyards around us lately. There was a mom trying to get a fawn to jump a fence & follow her. It was too small. Hubby circled around out yard and slipped up on her, forcing her to go into the yard behind us and toward that street. Once the fawn saw her near the road, it left the backyard to follow her. Just trying to get the mom out of fenced yard so the fawn in the unfenced yard was free to follow. Then another deer, maybe a year old was in the yard behind us feeding. The house is for sale and no one lives there. Our dog, a chihuahua was barking like crazy. Hubby brought her inside so she didn't scare the deer off. The city is clearing land a few miles from us. I think they are coming from there, looking for food. We have several patches of woods around us that we have had deer in for years. Now I think the area is too small to support them all. And we have seen coyote at noon trotting down our street right in front of our house! Scarry when you have small pets! HUGS~Donna
Garden of the Gods is on our list not this yr but in the future. We hope to resume our travels after our memorial Celebration of Life the end of June if Brian's brother is doing o.k. We will be heading to Wyoming for the Diesel Rally.
Loved the Garden of the Gods, just couldn’t believe the parking there. That’s crazy! Loved the rodeo museum nice pictures. I remember Lane Frost and Chris LeDeoux nit sure how to spell his name. But I remember his singing. I loved him . Rodeo is a rough life. My brother higher a guy to work fir him in Michigan he used to to do rodeos then he got hurt. Then one day he just up and left to back to it again in California. My brother hasn’t heard from in 24 years I think. But I loved this video very nice. You always go to the coolest places. I’ve been to Colorado and never knew they had that. I tell you we live in a beautiful country. Loved how there was dear there and they weren’t in the park somewhere. And a rabbit too! Welcome to our city! Hope you are having too much FUN! We have some nice weather on the way! If you get a chance check out the Airplane Restaurant out by the old Airport! We love their ribs and sit in the aircraft to eat!
We are in Denver now, headed to Wyoming on Tuesday but we did get to the airplane restaurant! What a cool place, will definitely go back there again! 😊
@@WaywardWaggs Glad you got to spend some time here. If you go by Laramie WYOMING take time to drive WYOMING Highway 130 called Snowy Mountain Scenic Byway! One of our favorite motorcycle rides when we road touring motorcycles! 😁🏞
