@@alanaldpal950 I looked back and I see no reason to have been able to bought the trawler either. A few videos with a couple hundred thousand views and those are only the video where he made the thumbnail her in a bikini …..I dont see the earn. Some videos have a few views but you have to have consecutive views over a short time to earn money on yt. Not the kind of money to buy a boat that retails for half mill. If they bought that boat for 300 and the. Did all the updates they’re still at nearly 500. I don’t see it…

@@longsleevethong1457 Well I have only watched a few of their videos, but enough to see that they are pretty hard working “go getters”. If they are “trust fund babies” then I am even more impressed that they are so level headed, and not screwed up like many younger people these days. I would also think there is a reason so many of their viewers/subscribers are posting that they deserve what they have accomplished.

First, I love the sail with Jetty with a patch over her eye. She is a real pirate doggy. She looks so happy to be on her new home. She seems to know this is the IT boat for you all. I really, love this for you. As I look at this, I am thinking this might be a really good choice for a solo woman to live on. My goal is just coastal sailing, and I am hoping to get on in the silicone valley and as a worst-case scenario Los Angeles. I am a Norcal girl, and anyone who grew up in Norcal knows that the "Devil is from SoCal". LMAO! Seriously though all joking aside, I prefer the colder weather of Norcal. I prefer to be at the beach in sweats than swimming suits. Compared to houses in Cali, this would be a super cheap answer, even brand new it would have a third of the cost of buying a house on land. When I am able to move back home, I am going to seriously look into this for myself. I had been thinking of something more like the last boat you fixed up, but I like sailing.

I didn't see where the batteries were stored. I agree with the grill assessment, it looks minimal for how many people you could have on board. Nice new model from Seawind. We have a 2019 Seawind 1160 Lite and love it. Had a Seawind 1000 previously, and a couple of Corsairs even before that. Really sold on the brand. One thing though - that BBQ pit is too small, plus with those silly rails around the perimeter, how do you use a spatula to remove fish, veggies, etc. The Aussie-made stainless CookOut that they put on the 1260 is very good. We had one on our 1000, and special ordered it for the 1160. Look into it. Where is Sierra's washer going to go? I've seen them where you've got the hot water tank, or in the starboard bow for boats without the second head. I'd also watch that spin tack line, where it goes thru the end of the sprit. Might want to put something there for chafe. You're hull no. 1 - just be on the lookout for stuff. Seawind made a lot of small changes on the 1160 over the many years it was made. I'd expect some things to need to be addressed on a new model. Maybe we will see you in Bahamas next year. Seawind 1160 "Kailani".

What kind of batteries do you have and is there plans for more solar? That solar seems light with all the appliances you have, I would think about bringing the solar up to about 1.5 to 2 kw.

Congratulations! You two are such a inspirational couple I have ever wittnessed, I kick myself nearly everyday and especially when watching your YT uploads that I should have experienced the same things at your age, I didn't start untill I was 65. I now I do not have the many opportunities as you, I became a full time liveaboard five years ago today, Billy I need to get a couple types of the long sleeve shirts (windrider style) to protect my skin from the sun, in the past 6 months I had to have 6 (Basal cell Carcinoma) skin spots removed for my forehead, forearm, and shoulders as well as midback on the spine.( this was from years of no protection from the sun when landscaping, my pool relaxing, and the worst the left side of my forehead and arm from driving ! LOL But not from boating or being on the water! It is a bummer that I can't get immersed in seawater! And heat is on the way!

I've been watching you guys for about 6.5-7 years now, back when I was considering living on a boat (which I no longer can consider) and I feel that all those years and experience working and rebuilding the other boats has prepped you for this boat and you'll now have the greatest adventure ever! Good luck and you've earned it. I know you head to NY for the hurricane season, but I'd suggest you look into Rio Dulce Guatemala. I currently live in Guatemala and have been to Rio Dulce and a lot of boaters hang out there for the season as well. Also, last January I met my mother in Roatan (she went on a cruise) and it's a WONDERFUL island. People are super friendly, take the USD and speak English. Central America isn't nearly as messed up as they'll tell you. As long as you have google translate, you'll be fine! :) Looking forward to what you three will do in the coming years.
