[Full Version] Angel Series Part 1 The Mystery of Angels: From Seraphim to Archangels, Everything About Angels in the Bible! - Bible Word Hymns Representative Prayer
Hello!
This time, we will talk about the first part of the Angel Series, The Mystery of Angels, from Seraphim to Archangels, everything about angels in the Bible.
The angels that appear in the Bible have various forms and roles, and each angel has a unique mission.
Angels are not simply spiritual beings, but important messengers who help and protect God's plans and deliver His messages.
Types of Angels Mentioned in the Bible
Seraphim
Seraphim first appear in Isaiah 6:1-7, and are angels who surround the throne of God and praise Him.
They have six wings: two wings to cover their faces, two to cover their feet, and the remaining two to fly.
This appearance shows that even they feel such awe before God's absolute holiness and authority that they have to cover their faces.
Seraphim constantly cry out, “Holy, holy, holy,” praising the holiness and divinity of God.
Cherubim
Cherubim appear frequently in the Bible as guardians who protect God and His holy space.
The first time they appear is in Genesis 3:24, where after Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden of Eden, the cherubim guard the entrance to the garden and block the way to the tree of life.
They are powerful guardians who were appointed by God for a special mission, and their job was to prevent the desecration of God’s holy space.
Michael and Gabriel
Michael appears in the Bible as an angel of war and an archangel who protects God’s people.
In Daniel 10 and 12, Michael appears as the leader of God’s angelic army, and he takes God’s side in the battle against Satan and his armies.
In Revelation 12, Michael is depicted as victorious in the battle against Satan and casting him out of heaven.
Michael always symbolizes God's justice and protection, and believers recognize him as a powerful angel who wins spiritual warfare.
Archangel
In the Bible, archangels often appear without specific names, and their main mission is to convey God's will to humans.
These angels sometimes appear as messengers of God in specific events or situations.
They appear as communicators and mediators between God and humans, and play an important role in conveying God's will to humans and realizing His plans.
Fallen Angels
Fallen angels are angels who rebelled against God and were cast out of heaven with Satan, and are associated with the forces of evil.
The most famous of them is Lucifer.
The fall of Lucifer is symbolically depicted in Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28.
He was originally an angel of light, but due to his pride, he rebelled against God and was cast out of heaven.
In Revelation 12, Satan is cast out of heaven with other angels, and these fallen angels are depicted as beings who interfere with God's plan and deceive humans.
They are destined to receive eternal punishment as a result of rejecting God's will.
Guardian Angels
Guardian angels play a role in protecting specific people or groups.
Also, in Matthew 18:10, it is said, "Their angels always see the face of my Father in heaven," and these guardian angels are understood as beings who protect and guide individuals.
Guardian angels are recognized as beings who provide comfort and peace to believers, and it is believed that they play a role in protecting and guiding people according to God's commands in daily life.
The belief that these angels are invisible but always by the side of believers is an important part of the Christian faith.
Ministering Angels
Ministering angels are angels sent to assist God’s plan and accomplish His will. Hebrews 1:14 describes them as “are they not all ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?”
These angels go beyond being mere messengers, and they play a role in helping humans follow God’s will and supporting them in the process.
They also play an important role in human salvation, carrying out the mission of guiding and protecting humans so that they can reach heaven.
In this way, angels in the Bible appear as various beings with different missions and authorities, and their roles have very specific and deep theological meanings.
Angels assist God’s work and mediate the relationship between humans and God, and their existence plays an important role throughout the Bible.
