That cop deserves a raise. That is Protecting and Serving. Amazing job handling a potentially serious situation with an attempt to educate, not dictate. He makes them aware of how they are affecting him and his job, however not belittling anyone or being unfair at all. Every police officer should take notes- this is how a traffic stop should be handled.

State trooper you’re most likely going to be cited, car or motorcycle. This Trooper was honest and cool as hell. Sometimes their hands are tied and have to give out tickets, or impounding, or arrests.

Wheelies are a criminal offense which could lead to jail time, while dumb shit like protests blocking flow of traffic and chaining yourself to a farmers farming equipment is a non criminal offence... I really think some laws are totally ridiculous and people wonder why some bikers run, stupid shit like this!!! While protests have caused death by not letting ambulance or police through by causing miles of congestion. If you wheelie responsibly I fail to see how it could hurt ANYONE including the rider themselves.

If you can't run or don't know how.m, get better as a rider. Most of the time you can be gone in just seconds. Chases don't need to be longer than 1-2minutes.

Something people forget is that when somebody loops or gets taken out by a car, that trooper is the one that has to deal with it. It doesn't magically go away. I knew a trooper who worked his share of fatal crashes. One rider looked like he was just laying there next to the rail, but his riding jacket was holding him together. He popped like a balloon. They have to witness that, write up a report, and see that the mess is cleaned up. The medics had to see all that. Not all cops are trying to be d*cks. Many ride themselves. Deep down they genuinely care about your safety and don't want to be the one telling the family why their kid won't be at the next thanksgiving dinner.

My uncle had a 1200 Amazonas, that he raced in the track, fully preped even the wheels, and he got stopped BY EVERY COP, because of guys like these... he never street raced, as he said "Racing my bike outside a track would be a suicide mission, the streets are full a holes, small stones and pokets, if one of these pick my wheels, im dead." Ive never seem him going above speed limit, of passing on a redlight even in the curfew hours... 25 years without a ticket.

I ride an SV 650 and you can't wheelie them or it robs the front cylinder of oil, and it breaks. That is really what keeps me from ever doing wheelie on the public roads.
