It is clear after the meeting he and the Senate president had with the CNC that they were directed to go easy on government officials summoned to testify before parliament. The fact is, most of these Nigerian lawmakers don't actually want anything to change. The executive literally agreed to lending terms by the Chinese government with a clause that waves Nigeria's sovereignty in the event of a default. What do we think will happen when these railways finally collapse, like every infrastructure project in the country?
