Personally, the O3 is too expensive for me to put it at a higher risk damaging it. I'd rather have a slightly worse flying drone that is more durable than one that flys better and is more fragile. Thats why I went with the full O3. This decision is going to depend for each person and what their needs are. Great vid as always! Keep it up!
For those that need the quality with maybe the extra performance it is still quite a bit less expensive than most naked GoPro's. And probably flies better than using an analog VTX with a naked GoPro as well.
After burning out two naked air units, I can at least say that both times it was due to moisture and both times I didn't use Conformal coating. Next time I get naked, I'm definitely coating.
I've been curious to see a side by side comparison in this size! Personally I don't think the durability hit is worth it, and I definitely won't be doing naked ones on my larger drones
The 03 gets all the hype, but what if a person like myself doesn't care about 4K ... Then I use a Naked Caddx Vista with a Nebula Pro Nano camera to get the weight to the lowest possible for DJI digital. That's my choice for this micro drone. ULTRALIGHT ! - Plus, being significantly lighter, it allows me to go down in battery size further reducing the weight to a new low! I lso get less chance at damaging the micro drone because less weight equals less inertia meaning less damage when I crash. To me, losing the 4k but still getting the crystal clear video of Vista and the less cost and more toward a true freestyle micro, than a slow flying micro video drone. 03 is over hyped! There are places like this example where I'd rather have it will a naked Vista! Very nice video!
From a fun of flying perspective yes, you will have much more fun with either a naked vista but also with the single board competitors! But with anything else you still need a naked GoPro or any other good quality recording device, with o3 you don't as the quality is good enough, that's why we are looking for this compromise!
I understand your desire for lightweight and to save a couple dollars but O3 is not overhyped lol. It’s the single greatest product in FPV ever. A few years ago we couldn’t even dream of flying in 1080p 100fps low latency. Let alone with a hero session built in weighing 0 grams.
I've been getting close to 5 minutes on my Flylens 85 with o3 Lite and 1000mah battery. Thats flying it pretty hard too. I'm impressed but wish I'd gotten the full o3 and not the lite. Boards are much more open. Its just something to worry about. Took a nasty hit with the camera and knocked the lense cover from Flywoo off.
Darkstar is maybe the best flying 2s, but the fact that it has jello sometimes makes me not trust it, the Flylens85 flies very good still, light and with the softmount it never has any jello, and that's why I put it on my backpack
As an owner of 75 Full O3 and 85 Naked O3, I would agree that 85 is just the better option. There is a metal heatpipe on the 75.. it connects the frame to the prop guard. The 85 does not have this part and instead connects directly using a standoff.

Salve, grazie mille! La radio DJI remote controller 2 non può essere collegata a una ricevente ELRS, supporta solo le caddx vista, air unit, o DJI O3, quindi va collegata a quella! Poi su betaflight va impostato il drone per usare come ricevente la O3 e non la ricevente ELRS, va cambiato nella Tab porte e nella Tab ricevente Bisogna anche controllare che il connettore della O3 sia cablato bene Se hai difficoltà puoi scrivermi su Instagram ti do una mano
For flying mainly indoor, would smaller 75 be better than 85? I bought the 75 naked but also received the 85 frame kit as a gift. Not sure if i should move everything over to the 85 kit haha.
There is not a ton of difference, maybe yes the 75 is a tiny bit better indoor, but the 85 is much more versatile outdoor and still pretty good indoor so I suggest you try
@@Rimzler no beh che la gopro sia nettamente superiore a livello qualitativo quello si sa , intendo proprio montare una gopro naked su un drone come questo , sarebbe fighissimo per indoor😍
@DanilMinardi se guardi indietro nel canale lo avevo fatto, ai tempi dell'analogico, con il digitale conviene usare una vista naked con cam molto leggera, pesa meno e da spazio al peso della GoPro Questi con O3 e specialmente 2s fanno troppa fatica secondo me e non vola bene, già un cinelog 20 4s è un'altra roba

Ciao, sono già riuscito a collegare il Pavo 20 alla radio DJI V2, ma ho lo stick dell'acceleratore dato che viene dal centro e il drone si accende solo quando lo tiro verso il basso, devo mettere lo stick dell'acceleratore quindi è sempre abbassato? apri la radio dji v2 e metti giù lo stick come una normale radio? grazie mille
Si va abbassato lo Stick, non va aperta la radio, dietro ha due buchi con delle viti esagonali, vanno stretti così si stacca la molla che lo riportano verso il centro, dovrebbe esserci scritto nelle istruzioni della radio
Ciao, ho già sintonizzato la radio, ma ho un altro problema in fase di accelerazione del drone, i motori accelerano molto velocemente e si spengono anche quando accelero un po', deve essere qualcosa di mal configurato, cosa potrebbe essere? Grazie mille e scusa se te lo chiedo sempre@@Rimzler
@@Rimzler Quando vado a decollare da terra e accelero un po’, i motori accelerano molto e si spengono, e a volte il drone gira addirittura al contrario.
