Heading there soon! Personally, we are partial to St. Lucia, however, all of our trips with Sandals has been great! Only complaint was in Barbados…coffee machines were down..I am up at 5 a.m. so that was a challenge.

Nice resort tour video. From available online information on Sandals resort size by acres: Ochi - 110, South Coast - 52, St. Vincent - 50, Curacao - 44, Dunn's River - 38 (includes adjacent not completed property), Antigua - 27, Barbados + Royal Barbados - 27, Montego Bay - 26, Grenada - 18, Grande St. Lucia - 17, Royal Bahamas - 17 (with 3 acre Island), Royal Caribbean - 15 (with 2 acre Island). The size of Emerald bay is 500 acres and La Toc is 220 acres, including their golf courses. In reality, South Coast has 10 restaurants as the brick oven pizza at Giuseppe's for lunch is just like having a Dino's or Bella Napoli. Also, at some point it will have the long promised two food trucks: Tacos & Fried Chicken - hopefully by the time we get there in April. As far as rooms, unless you really love a very nice room and don't care at all about the view or too much about nearness to the pools, restauarants and beach, the Rondovals (which we have gone on a tour of) would be a very hard sell to many. Similarly, during our last visit, we stayed 2 nights in the bungalows (and 4 nights in the Dutch Village), and their distance from everything except the nature preserve detracts from how very nice they are (although if you call your butler in advance, they will arrange for someone to drive you to the main area or aqua center via golf cart).

Great review. Two questions: which building would you recommend, between Longbeach and Starlight? Also, how does tipping work for the spa or for those few services where you're allowed to tip - does it go onto your room bill or do you tip in cash? If cash, do you use US$ or Jamaican$? Trying to figure out what the norms are so we are prepared. Love your videos, thanks!

Did you participate in the airport travel bus provided by Sandals? I'm curious if they have set times that the bus travels to and from the airport. I've never been to a Sandals resort and will be finally checking this one out!
