Yes I'm aware now, Editing error that I missed when previewing the video before uploading. The Hair mask was used in the shower. Twisting Cream was used when styling.
Instead of flipping your hair in the sink you could try to part it down the middle and wash each side so your hair could stay down. That method works great for me.
I don’t see why people was making a big deal about her washing her hair in the sink. Y’all act like u can’t clean the sink with bleach. Washing it in the shower is to much work!

Don’t understand how people can wash meat and their dirty hands and clothes in the sink but not hair. Even in the salon you wash your hair in the sink. I guess these people never heard of washing their sink.
people wash dirty clothes in the sink????? I think the difference between your home sink and a salon sink is that your home sink is used to wash the dishes and the salon sink is only used for washing people's hair

allofdestiny it’s not easier off camera. After you shampoo your hair and put your deep conditioner, you have to wait for 5-10 mins, by that time, do you bath / wait, who knows.
Girl the struggle is real 🤣. We appreciate you trying a shower wash. I used to wash my hair in the shower before I dyed it red. Now it has to be in the sink because of the hair color bleeding. I actually really like the sink washes better.
Girl wash your hair in the sink and tell folks to mind they business! 🙄 even if they think it makes your sink dirty they ain’t at your house eating your food off your dishes so they don’t have to worry about it. This is exactly why I wash my hair in sink and I rinse out my deep conditioner in the shower. I’m not getting in and out of the shower just to do my hair. Imagine the water that’s being wasted by doing all of that.
I grew up with my mom washing my hair in the Kitchen sink. I don’t/can’t wash my hair in the shower. For one, I don’t like the hair products rinsing down to ‘other’ parts of my body. Two, it’s just too much. I actually kneel over the bathroom tub to wash my hair. My faucet is located where I can do that. Keep doing what works for you Destiny.

Hey Queen to see if a hair combo gonna work combine them together in a bowl as a little sample to see if it mixes smoothly. If it doesn't it will create clumps.
I have been washing my hair in the shower, for about 2 weeks now, but I do not detangle my hair; until I start putting the styling products in my hair. My sister told me that I have to reset my hair before I put the styling products in my hair. My sister and your sister was right. I enjoyed the video 👀👍👏
I have low porosity hair as well. The whole natural hair journey is truly trial and error. You did a great job. I'm also low porosity and I FINALLY found the products that work for me.... Camille Rose!!!! 🙂

Once you put your last conditioner in your hair, shower and let it sit in, then flip your hair forward as if you were under a sink and rinse it out. Squeeze it dry and wrap your towel around your hair. No back acne!!

I've had that same issue with cream leave ins mixing with certain gels...Eco is really specific about which leave ins it'll work with. Your results are amazing and the most important factor: your hair is still healthy! I usually do a bonnet at night as well and about 4-6 twist so it won't be flat or start to mash or matt down.
Cream of Nature line is great! Every since the new line with the honey came out I have been using it. I can wash my hair in the shower or sink, it just depends on your preference, but you were so funny, you don't like the shower, lol.....'you recording" LOL

Rinse conditioner with cool to cold water the colder you can handle the better. It will help with the cuticle of your hair and absorption of the products. 🦋💜🦋💜
I love your curls. They are beautiful. One product line I would love to see you try is Aussie moist. Their 3 minute miracle is wonderful! The oil they have smell sooo good. It smell legit like starburst candy.
I’m using that creme of nature pure honey line and it works wonders for my hair! They’re thick and moisturizing and leaves my hair extremely soft! The twisting cream is my favorite product from that line.

I usually wash & condition my hair in the kitchen then put my deep conditioner in & let it sit then rinse in the shower & put my leave in in my hair while in the shower! Makes my hair sooooo soft
hey destiny LOVE your videos and as far as the puffy ends mine did the same , i do however have a loser curl than you but as mi grew longer the puff stopped. highly recommend making smaller sections and making sure your hair is wet wet as it helps for curls to develop . When it gets longer it gets easier

I prefer the shower only because I have the stand up kind and it’s easier for me than the sink where I end up straining my back and everything gets wet! Lmao if imma be wet I might as well hop in the shower with it. But I completely understand what you were saying about not knowing what you’re cutting if you don’t properly define your curls! I just filmed my “big chop” and was trying to explain that but didn’t know how to put it lol. But I was getting scared that I’d cut something that was actually my natural hair. You did good tho! Being new at this we really just have to play with our hair and see what it likes because everyone hair is different and reacts to different products and methods. ♥️♥️ can’t wait to see more from you, boo!

I love the pure honey line! My favorites are the mask and twisting creme the scent lingers and it smells so good. I have low porosity hair too, I soak my hair and I feel like that’s when my curls pop the most! The L.O.C method helped my hair grow a couple of inches too! Loved the video!! ❤️✨ Edit: I wash my back immediately after washing my hair in the shower. I recommend the neutrogena body wash it’s clears up body acne. The kitchen is the best place to go on wash day!
i like washing my hair in the shower bc i can kill two birds with one stone, but the mess afterwards is annoying gotta deep clean the whole shower bc hair is everywhere
My wash n go last 7 days... I wear a plastic cap under my bonnet each pm.....it keeps the moisture in, but not soaking wet, and I don't have to spray it in the am.... Try it!!

Destiny you are such a comedian, sarcasm and all. I too prefer the sink for hair washing. However, I'm a woman of a particular age with back issues. Therefore the shower hair washing is my thing. I might have to give the Cream of Nature products a try.
Camille rose curl maker gel is really good if you are looking for a more natural light weight gel. I haven’t tried all their products but by the results I got from the gel I feel like the rest of their line would be amazing. They are pricey though but the results are worth it.❤️
