We had a 76 jeep with quad trac and that was better than aftermarket lockers hands down. That jeep was a beast our 79 had a 3 speed no Quadra trac. And the same trials it was stuck n couldn't climb a certain hill because of the diffs... but love the fsj. I have a 1980 cheif at work with 360 with a 6-71 dyers blower. A 4 inch lift 3 inch body and 38 dick cepak gumbo mudders... but it just sitting for the last 20 years... lol
Love the widetrack Cherokee S. I actually like them better than the Chiefs just because of the stripe and interior package. I have a '79 and plan on building it up as a camping/hunting/wheeling rig very similar to yours.
