Amazing work. Really commendable. As a mechanical engineer, I'll advice you to put clamps properly and safely. The clamping that was done is unsafe and can be a danger if it slips. The clamps must be either leveled or slightly inclined towards the workpiece. Use some packing on other end.

Wow awsome...!!! If a carpenter doing this he will take months for the work and also a cost of 80k. The machine done it in 10 minutes whatever the quality it looks fine. I think the machining cost will be below 10k. Superb. Affordable..

Its called a cnc router they just use software to translate the image to cutting operations. Where as a 3d printer adds material to build a 3d object. This is refered to as 2.5D because it does not do the back side.

Good thing is final product is not at all satisfying. It's no where near fine art like real work. People will sure hesitate to buy this piece. Nothing can replace humand hand when it comes to art btw.

Hands hold tools and with skilful use can create wonderful objects. This is no less human hand made. The machine didn't make this all by itself, it's programmed to repeat a process. The hand of man is there, therefore man-made with mechanical assist

Richard Bedard they probably have the dimensions loaded in a file which was generated after 3D scanning of a hand carved piece. You can find many templates online... please try and let us know. :)

the software is named artcam for this work and was invented by dellcam and for this we dont need to wrinte program everything wiil be in coordinates depth while creating design everything will be mentioned and it will work through work piece and machine values and it is though as creating software while designing....to create god designs it is though....

Tragic sign of the times to come. Now craftsmen who put their skill into creating one of its kind pieces, will be replaced by machines mass producing art and crafts which look exactly the same. What's really bad is a labour intensive country like India showing the way.
