So, I bought a Tern GSD and it is still within it's warranty period. There was a problem with the lights (lights switched off every time I pressed the brakes) and the bike had to be sent back to Tern for repair. 1 month later, the bike is still at Tern. I called the distributor for Tern in Belgium (Hartje) and the guy pretty much asked me why I was calling and what did he expect me to do about my bike being in service. He also said that I shouldn't expect my bike back before some time next year because they are busy and have a lot of bikes to repair. HE WOULD NOT EVEN TELL ME WHEN NEXT YEAR I COULD EXPECT MY BIKE BACK. This is a bike that cost Euro 6500, still in warranty and which we used to use daily fro dropping our kids at school. It should not take 2+ months to repair - especially since apparently what is needed is to replace the internal wiring. I didn't pay this money just to have it sitting in a repair facility in Germany.
I'm looking for a cargo ebike, and the Tern GSD is among the best ones I have seen so far. The only thing I've not been able to find is a cargo trailer with enough space and separation I could take my two mid-sized dogs with me. Do you have any cargo trailer that fits this description by any chance?
Hi J E! Thanks for getting in touch. I'm wearing the Dashel Recyclable Helmet, which you can order from our website at fullycharged.com ... hope that helps!
@@FullychargedUK So similar to my Rad bike claims, but my bike can’t climb any type of hill fully loaded with a wee 250w motor, even though it says 80Nm of torque, maybe the Term is better.
@@IDann1 the new Tern GSD Gen 2 is built off the Bosch Cargo Line motor, which gives you 400% pedal assistance. We're pretty certain this bike will be capable of what you need it to do. Feel free to come down for a test ride if you're in the area.
Hi Carlos, thanks for your comments. If production goes to plan the GSD S10 LR will be arriving to us at Fully Charged in December/January and then the S10 LX, the S00 and the R14 should be with us come February/March.
You can’t fold to bring on any train in the UK (instead of only the pre-booked slots, not many on any trains). This makes it not exact a car replacement.
