Hi There is a list of Postgraduate courses in Germany funded by DAAD. You can check the available courses here: static.daad.de/media/daad_de/pdfs_nicht_barrierefrei/in-deutschland-studieren-forschen-lehren/daad_epos_-_deadlines_2025_26.pdf
Thank you for this. I got my degree last year in March 2023 but I have started working hybrid since 2020 although in a field that is not related to my course of study. Do those years of experience count?
Hi, the required work experience is a minimum of two years after your first degree (bachelor) at the time of application. Except you just want to give it a shot.
Hi, with a HND certificate, you can do a Bachelor’s study in Germany; but not a Master’s study. To apply for this DAAD scholarship for a Master‘s study, you‘ll need a bachelor’s certificate.
Hi…this depends fully on the program and university you’re applying to. A couple of universities require that you can submit an English proficiency letter from your university, if you’re a native speaker However a lot of other programs and universities require that you submit IELTS certificate, even as a native speaker. It’s very important to check the requirements of the program/university(ies) you’re applying to.
Thank you so much for taking us through this process but my question is that when I download those documents can I print the document and fill them up and also upload them back or what please
Hi. If you have a means of downloading the form and filling it out on your phone or tablet, great! But if you don’t, it’s very ok to print it out, fill it out, and upload it. I hope this cleared your doubts
Hi…you can learn via Duolingo, but you need a certificate from a certified German learning center. For instance the Goethe-Institute in Nigeria However, you only need this if you’re applying for a German-taught course
This is really helpful. Can I know whether we can apply to any other programs from DAAD apart from the programs listed in the pdf you displayed under "What can be funded?"?
Thank you for this info, but my question is As a graduate that studied English, do i still need to proof my proficiency Also, for recommendation from lectuer must it be from my department
Yes, you do…sadly. However, this depends fully on the program and university you’re applying to. A couple of universities require that you present a document from your previous university stating that the medium of instruction during your study period was English - this is pretty much easy to get. While some other programs and universities may require that you submit IELTS. It’s important to check the requirements of the university you’re applying to.
Letter of recommendation can come from an academic teacher or supervisor….not necessarily in your department. The second one can also come from your current employer.
@@olatoyeblessing6955It must have your school letterhead…typed and stamped, because it’s an official document. From my own experience, I went to my school Registrar…explained to them what I wanted - they’re very familiar with it, and got it same day. It is called Letter of English Proficiency. You could also google it to find a sample - that is if they need further explanation. I hope this helps
Oh Lord Jesus Christ,I am very interested,to further Study German abroad Berlin,to Study Master and PhD programs,if God will be bless to get such A Opportunity,to had Western World Education, such Europe, Germany!
Wendy, could you please look into normalize the volume levels? Sometimes the volume is so low it is hard to follow you and in other videos - like this one - you are getting blasted from the chair 😵
I really appreciate that you noticed that about the volume levels of my videos. I‘ll definitely have that in mind when making my next videos. Thank you!
Of course you can work while studying in Germany. There are students jobs and Minijobs. However, the city you choose for your studies matters too. For instance in big cities, you definitely have a better chance of getting good student jobs and lots of English-speaking jobs too.
Hi I want to know that for daad scholarship epos do i need to submit separate motivational letters or same for applying to 3 courses . I am confused as in the checklist its written this : If you are applying for more than one master’s or PhD course: Please rank the courses in order of preference, i.e. why is your first choice of course your first choice, why is your second choice your second choice and so on. For each choice of course please provide clear reasons why you think it will advance you academically and professionally. You must provide the same letter of motivation to all courses you are applying for. please explain me this statement
Hi Maryam Yes, you‘ll need 3 motivational letters…however you‘ll need to explain why you made each course your first, second, and third choice in each of your letters.
Specifying reasons why you want to pursue each of the 3 program in your motivational letter You’re basically submitting 3 motivational letters with the same content I hope this helps!
Hi, click on the link below to see the list of available courses. I am sure you’ll find a couple of social science or management related courses. 👇🏼 static.daad.de/media/daad_de/pdfs_nicht_barrierefrei/in-deutschland-studieren-forschen-lehren/daad_epos_-_deadlines_2025_26.pdf
Hi, DAAD states that applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a RELATED SUBJECT. However, many master's programs, including those in international health, often welcome students with diverse academic backgrounds. Of course you’ll need to give a good explanation for choosing a different career path in your letter of motivation. Also the admissions requirements may vary between universities, so it's very necessary to check out the specific entry criteria for the programs you are interested in on the university’s web page.
The DAAD scholarship program does not specify a minimum GPA for the scholarship application. However, having a low CGPA may make it difficult to be considered, as most competitive programs require a higher GPA. It's also not impossible, but you may need to look for programs that have more flexible academic requirements. I hope this helps!
Hello, good day. How can I contact you i need your support for this & which is in this video somethings not understand for me. im trying to study in german so please guide me to do this. how can i contact with you ma'am please. as soon as possible Thank you. Have nice day
Can I apply if I already have a master's degree and want to apply for another one? And if so, do I send the certificate from the first master's program instead of the bachelor's certificate?
Oh ok The DAAD Scholarships are aimed at Bachelor’s graduates, doctoral students and post docs. However, the person can apply to SBW Berlin Scholarship - it is available for bachelor’s students And the Erasmus Scholarship is also available to students pursuing a bachelor degree The person can apply to these two if he/she meets the requirements
@@SaiKumar-tj1qx No you do not need to write any exam to be awarded the DAAD scholarship. However, few schools in Germany might require that you write an exam before giving you an admission…which is rare. So if one of chosen universities require an exam to grant an admission, then you might need to write an exam
No please… Your DAAD form is one of the application documents that you‘re required to submit to your university of interest. If you receive a positive response from the university, then you‘re likely to also get the DAAD scholarship. So submit all your application documents to the university. If you’re successful, DAAD will contact you to upload the same documents to their portal. I hope this cleared your doubts?
It is not advisable! However, you can use it temporarily to make your applications, only if you’re certain that your Bachelor’s certificate will be available when you finally get admitted.
I am enjoying your videos, do you know any scholarships like the one you just mentioned but for bachelor's degree for people in Sub-Saharan Africa? last thing, can I contact you via email?
Hi, DAAD Scholarships are aimed primarily at Bachelor’s graduates, doctoral students and post docs. However, you can apply to SBW Berlin Scholarship - it is available for bachelor’s students And the Erasmus Scholarship is also available to students pursuing a bachelor degree
