Good to see you at VT8 as beach front with decent sized rooms & reasonable utilities fees…this & VT2 & 5 in Jomtien are the most popular choice. Only detail left out was which floor it’s on…plus are there some condos available to rent by the month to month?? Be better when the beach roadworks are finished next year too.🧐😉😎
Thanks Reds lots of good places in Jomtien but many require on to own/ride a motorbike to get around. Maybe I will have to learn and get licensed though Pattaya traffic can get very dangerous.
Friend of mine got wiped out on his motorbike last year near Pratumnak, cracked several ribs, damaged his hip and elbow too, also had no insurance. That put me off learning to ride one for the foreseeable future
@@PremierTraveler Yep Pattaya and Bangkok definitely not the best environments to learn. All I know is just taking a Grab motorbike taxi around the city can be quite scary!

No signings, Slot’s first seasons, and a weakened defence that’s going to get torn apart in certain games. I’m predicting a 6th finish in the league

Great video, I'm currently in Jomtien but looking to move closer to the beach. up to 15000 Baht per month. I like the size of Talay's (5C in particular). Can you suggest complex's for me to check out around 40 sqm > size, I don't drive, I have looked at Pratamnak and also Wongamat (loved) thanks in advance

A few complex’s close to Jomtien Beach I highly recommend for under 15k are the Dusit Grand on Second Road which have condos available for 14k, and The Gallery which have studio condos for 10k. Hi Red. I will probably be in Jomtien when the weather gets cold in England - Jan/Feb/March. I will stay for one month. I'm retired and I'll lose part of my pension if I stay longer than one month.. I don't want a contract for that reason so it look like I'll be at the Amazon Residence. There are lots of people in my position. You may want focus on this. One month, with no contact. Cheers ! Ian
Personally, Ian, I wouldn’t recommend a complex like this for a monthly stay. For a start they would charge 1,500 to 2000bht extra a month than a contract stay, plus you’d have a pay a large deposit fee, which could leave to problems if any issues occur
Is this area prone to flooding? Last couple years I have seen hundreds of bikes flooded in cover garages. I like to stay away from those areas or be made aware of them beforehand. TIA
@@glennthornton3925 the car park is on the ground level, so it’s possible that could be prone to flooding. The main entrance itself is on an elevated level so I assume that would be safe
@@scottgeen3062 good Lord! You could live like a king for the foreseeable future on those savings alone! In all seriousness it would depend on how much you spend on living expenses, and also if your planning to buy or rent property. My advice would be to spend three months here to find the right accommodation and part of Thailand you’d enjoy living in.
Too expensive, also have not central ac, old technik a old building. I dont know how they have the phantasie to ask this price ? They think all stupid ?
Maybe it’s slightly overpriced in terms of rent, but the complex and condo were fairly well maintained for its age, and it’s in a prime location Hans which explains the higher rental price
