Really nice, great location & price. A little map with building highlighted up for few seconds at start of video is always good for the viewer, especially watching YT on a TV, cant click location in description👍

Wait a minute, is Baan Chao Na and Baan Kumpa the same? Because it says Baan Chao Na in the title and your google maps link goes to Baan Kumpaa. Baan Kumpa wants 9000/ month and 10 baht for electric.

Good review. As you say, for this price there are better options. It would be nice if you mention laundry options in your reviews. I mean the self service coin op washing machines standing streetside.

That room has great potential but does need some updating. I took a look at the Chaba apartments and they appeared to be much nicer but I didn't see a price.
@@roberthornbrook8374 8,500 would be fair imo. The room is well furnished and in a great location close to Pratamnak and Jomtien, it’s just a shame about the construction work nearby that’s looks like it’s going to last at least 10 more months
Lenkgee is more 7-800 b ( bigger and better , old rooms from the 80's but were made of top notch wood/ marble ) . KJS house, Chaiyapoon Apartments , are around 500b on Pothole .

@@stoopsolo1479 most owners prefer cash payments through the agency you booked the viewing with or the juristic office inside the complex. But, of course they also accept international or Thai bank transfer. As for PayPal, here in Thailand that payment option barely exists

Like stepping in a time warp, I stayed there 23 years ago and it hasn’t changed a bit. Im sure there is a newer wing to that hotel with another pool, the rooms were a bit more modern. Think I paid 1200 baht then but it was 76 baht to the £ in them days
Personally I'd rather take an older and slightly worn room in a good location. I draw the line at bad smell and ants but lacking that I find the older buildings do have their charm. Maybe I'm dreaming of old days gone by. Anyway, as for bungalows I would not like to pay over 15 thousand per month for a somewhat old one, but then I don't have a problem with apartments and could have one of those instead without bother. Important to have a pool in the compound and a grocery store within walking distance (or a baht bus outside the compound).
stayed at may mansion 4 times before...great location and room for a holiday..also stayed at mint mansion just up the soi abit...great memories at may mansion.everything is just a short walk away.
Loved the rooms at the Mint Mansions, only two negatives were the 10 BHT electric rate, and the 12,000BHT a month rental price, which was in fact the current low season price!
