As with Necromunda, every model is a Stargrave model. I've used Oathmark humans with Rangers of Shadowdeep cultist heads as cultists (they're less ragged than the FG cultists).
Just what I needed! For the colours I’m too used to napoleonic uniforms to think what skins an alien should have. Also a starter crew for Stargrave in particular.
With these NorthStar boxes kitbashing has became more easy, it helps that they are compatible with other brands. Furthermore, with all the heads and arms in a sprue, one can modify other minis also after building all the bodies.
I wonder if using the "Gunfighters" kits from Great Escape Games would be good as a base for a Stargrave crew. Have more of a Firefly-esque "Wild West in Space" theme.
The Gunfighters are a bit more slight, their scale being a bit closer to true (on a scale axis running from true to heroic). They look absolutely fine alongside the Northstar miniatures, but mixing them to kitbash requires care and a bit of luck to get a nice result.
