38 minutes showing how *not* to do it. Weld a piston instead of replacing it? Install pistons without piston rings? No new crankshaft bearings? No new connecting rod bearings? No new oil seals? No new gaskets? What´s about lapping the valves and checking the measurements? Restoration? Clumsily disassembling an engine, cleaning it with a broom and even more clumsily reassembling it has nothing to do with a restoration.
I'm pretty sure these guys do this type of work/videos just for views so that they can earn money from it. It's very hard to watch a type of work like this but lots of people are being entertained. 🤷🏽♂
I am on to you guys.. you just want to make videos to get money.. You proved you guys are fake engine builders. When you rebuild an engine you just do not take it apart and put it back together. There are many things that need replacement when you reassemble an engine because they weir down from use. this engine would have the same issues as before maybe even worse. By the way you did not use a ring commpresser when you put the pistons back with NO PISTON RINGS. in real life this engine would not even start. You will most likely show another engine in the car and running pretending it was the same engine.
I intentionally made the paint of the car rust, faked it as an abandoned vehicle, repainted it appropriately, disassembled the engine and put it back. It is a camouflage recovery channel that earns views.

This is hilarious. The very definition of paint it black and put it back. You even painted the valve train 🤣. Torque is 3 uga dugas for every part apperantly. The rust looks like it was induced by chemicals. Bravo though yall making money fooling people.
1972 ? Balls. Thank God I do not have to drive with that engine. More mistakes than a dog got fleas...it is only a Merc, but even by Merc - standard, this is botchwork. To say the least. Preparing a door for re - spray without taking the handles off ? Well, go on. avanti dilettanti .!No point in telling what they did wrong - it would be an endless list. How come these cars are always completely rotten ? All very similar...honni soit, qui mal y pense !
Probably the worst engine rebuild you will ever witness, if it runs it will probably last about 2 hours before pissing oil and water everywhere. Got to be a wind up.
