Rather than bringing you a video packed with music and dialogue, we give you an oddly satisfying experience of what it takes to bring this thing back to life. Showing you the step-by-step process, we've included all the natural sounds and cut out all the extra hype and fluff to give you a everyday mechanic's point of view. So set back and enjoy this relaxing video as we show you what it takes to get this 1977 Toyota Celica back on the road again with absolutely no talking - just working!

I absolutely love these 70s era Celicas; they look like mini muscle cars and clearly influenced by the Mustang and Camaro lines with the famous "Coke Bottle" beltline profile. Back in the day it was common to see these with slotted mag wheels, pedestal spoilers and "Starsky and Hutch" side stripes!

In high school and college, I had three of them, a '72, a '74 and a '78. I thrashed on those poor things mercilessly and they never broke. They were fun to drive, quiet and smooth at any speed. Great little cars. And yes, the first two had slotted mags LOL

Just goes to show that these cars just don't want to die! I love that you managed to save something that had been sitting outside for a long time and making it run nice and smooth again back in the day when it was out and about. I also give credit to the one who filmed and edited the camera shots as they were perfect and well-timed. Well filmed and documented, pure restoration without the usual narrative that normally plague this type of video. Absolutely great no chat, how refreshing 👍
