can someone tell me which is better for the Elestral kickstarter. 1. get just one starter deck alone, 2. get two starter decks, 3. get one starter deck and 1 pack, 4. one starter deck and two packs.
SAME, every time a new yugioh video comes out I just eat it and keep hungering. Shifting between coder/farfa/MBT/dzeff's channel since Cimooooo went back 2 a few videos per week. (Which is fine! He can take all the time he needs, I just *hunger*)
Not gonna lie, watching you two throw down with either familiar or totally random decks each week is super entertaining. I hate to see a lack of royals in each of your pulls since you added the rule that you’d let royals move forward into following episodes
>plays striker mathmech >uses multirole and a bunch of spells >brings back a bunch of spells from GY because glowy button said so, leaving only 2 spells in GY >loses transverser because no eagle booster protection >activates jamming waves for -2 >refuses to elaborate >surrenders Based Sigma Dzeef gameplay right here
@@DeviousHands nah, it's hard to defend when he has a playset of vector blast, herculean base and scissor cross along side reye and roze all he had to do was play a defensive control pure striker deck with maybe 4 or so lv4 tuners with the end goal is to get final sigma out and hope mbt don't pull a kaiju the set up is pretty much as long as he has a roze in hand and get a ace onto field either by scissor cross or vector blast + roze in graveyard > roze triggers and special from hand, then normal summon a tuner which goes into sigma base will prevent 1 of your opponent monster from attacking while grants you cards if the secondary condition is met, and will recycle your cards getting destroyed with afterburners second effect

@@mario31490 mate come on....is that enough of an excuse? He is bad at reading and deck building. He went on that game with a bad build, and even though he could win, he threw up soooo damn hard, enough to get clapped again with 0-2....🤦🏾
Damn, that Sky Striker deck was a hot mess, but the targeting issue was simply unfortunate. MBT managed to turn some pretty bad pulls into a brickfest that somehow worked, though.
While MBT's win streak is hella funny I don't care who wins. I will be rooting for you tho Doug and I want it to gloat heavily when you win the next one!
"Pulling the Branded secret pack is just a free win" I mean MBT would pull Albaz + Branded Fusion + Lubellion + Mirrorjade + Albion + 3 Aluber out of packs + open the combo every game + L + ratio, but seeing how Dzeef pulls usually go, I wouldn't be so sure.
Doug is like a weaponmaster who trains for years in specific weapons to unlock their potential. MBT is like some Jackie Chan-esk environmental fighter, using ladders and bowls in combat. These matches are those two martial artists fighting with what they could pull out of a mega-market trashcan. Someday Doug will get an actual weapon and not some salami with a nail in it, I have faith. =P
my favorite part of this video is the henry_cotta guy in twitch chat at 27:56 who, in response to Dough summoning Laplacian, says "We did it" And then, in response to Laplacian getting countered, simply says "We did not"
Great Job on this whole series DZeef! I hope you find this comment. I’m sorry the community brings you down. But I genuinely look forward to your content and it would be boring without your creativity
Doug's misplays were like, unfortunate, but man the pulls were amazing here, and the deck build was genuinely great too (having multiple ways to Sugma, Roze at 3 because slower format allow Raye > Roze + a SS Mathmech to go to Lap). So close.
Holy shit Doug you actually missed an opportunity to make Sigma. When you had the two mathmechs on field along with Area Zero and Mutiroll, you could’ve used multi role to send the Area Zero and special a Raye/Roze. 3 level 4s. 3x4 = 12!
If you mean the turn at around 33:00 , it wouldn't have worked. I thought the same at first, but the Area Zero there was set by Multirole on the previous turn, so sending it with Multirole would just banish it instead, so Area Zero wouldn't be able to activate.
I think that single strike overthrow is a really balanced pack and great for beginners as it contains a half decent archetype in mathmech (the first proper deck that I made in fact) and a meta contender in the form of sky striker with them having their cards reasonable rarities for how important they are for their strategies.
Depens a lot on luck. I was able with ten pack to pull an oustandingly lucky 7 UR pull with a couple SR but... they were all matchmath, there was litterally only 1 high rarity that wasn't matchmat and I think it was an aesir shyncro or something similar. The sad thing is I wanted to build sky striker so it took me another 30 packs to pull enough sky strikers. You might ask why I didn't dismantle the matchmath to craft Sky Striker...well one of the UR was royal, so I decided to keep it and maybe built it later.
@@ryanorland5389 I had the same thing happening with the galaxy eyes pack. But even tough this were luck occasions I don't think it was an unfair luck because when I started on MD I had the shittiest of lucks. I'm embarassed about how many packs I had to open to build the krawler deck (no joke I wasted like 10.000 gems or more on it), basically I was able to build the extra deck by dismantling extra copies over extra copies of knightmare cards. It took an eternity and I could actually really use that deck only in the link only event (in which because nobody was expecting it I was able to get a lot of wins from opponent's misplays). Sadder thing is that with all the packs and the crafting I did to create that deck, it now has 2 in archetype royal rares... and I have no royals on the decks I actually play! I have royals in matematch, krawler, in fucking exodia cards, even on a random metaphys shyncro nobody plays, but for the life of me I can't get an actual good card that I actually play in my favorite decks to be royal no matter what. I like MD a lot but is infuriating sometimes.
Haven't watched yet, but love you Doug, your videos always put a smile on my face when I get the notification. I won't skip the Elestrals ad this week 👍
"I have figured it out. I now have the Skystriker brain." _5 minutes later_ "Wait what ?" "You don't have 3 spells, Doug ! You've got two." "How ? Bro..." "Cuz all your spells got banished off Multiroll" Joseph realized what was going to happen before Dough did and you can hear the pain in his voice
Still advocating for 0-2 losing decks to be added back to the wheel to add longevity to this amazing series and in the end we will find the truly worst secret pack!
my favorite part of master roulette is that it really is just too good. as a part-time mathmech player that missed sigma ligma line does hurt me a little though lol
dzeeff knows how after burner works because you can dodge it with altergeist spoofing. there really is only 1 person out there who could say a sentence like that
Comedic fun duels aside, it’s nice to watch what some archetypes do without the stress of dueling against it trying to figure it out myself. Thank you for deciding to have fun with your friends and make it into videos ❤
Why on earth didn't he use Multiplication double its level, tune and synchro with Diameter, make Final Sigma, Multiplication double Sigma atk points, double battle dmg, win the game, oh my God...
Love the content you do, both this and master saga are great cause i get to see so many different archetypes showcased. It's also wonderful seeing someone have as much fun as you guys do playing cardgames, it feels like a lot of people take the games way to seriously and lose out on a lot of the great joys in just playing to have a good time. Keep it up
Hope you guys are having fun, despite all the ridiculous comments you get. Yugioh is so entertaining for me to watch when both players are having fun and I love the dynamic you guys have. Don't let the haters drag you down =)
Why did Doug not play the Kaguri or Engage he totally pulled? Aren't they 100% mission critical. Surely he pulled 2 of the most high roll URs in the pack??
Here´s an idea for a familiar series I would love to see. An Archetype battle where you and MBT spin a wheel to play two mostly pure Archetypes against each other in constructed. Alternatively you can spin for two Archetypes and try to make them together work. To be more fun special rules would be applied: To keep them mostly pure about 30 cards for one archetype or 15 cards if two Archetypes have to bee related to that. The Rest you can freely choose. To stop that every build is more or less with the same basics are handtraps forbidden unless they serve a second use besides being handtraps (example Ash Blossoms fire type to summon Grysta in Shaddols; Grysta has to be in the ED) or archetype specific (Mercourier). Floodgates are limited except they´re build in in the Archetype (Winda for Shaddolls). To not ruin yourself by buying stuff on MD you can do that on DB or preferrably on EDOPro.
Doug: Pulls Spellbook, a deck that summons one monster with minor protection and cycles through a ton of draw spells... also he didn't pull the protection card they play MBT: Pulls Ancient Gears, a deck that summons a big beefy 3000+ ATK Golem dude who punches really hard and completely ignores S/T disruption Doug: Pulls Counter Fairies, a deck that pays LP to do stuff MBT: Pulls Aromage, a deck that does stuff when your LP is higher than the opponent's Doug: Pulls Sky Striker, a deck that summons 1 important monster and plays with tons of spells that perform targeted removal MBT: Pulls Majespectre, a deck that sets a lot of searchable monster removal backrow and has inherent protection from effects that target or destroy Getting hard countered 3 weeks in a row. You literally CANNOT make this stuff up. On god bro, I feel badly for you and I hope you can get a turnaround soon. I'm glad you at least got the Ally Of Justice pack out of the way, because Ra help you if you open Worms and MBT just happens to pull up playing Ally Of Justices... 💀
Yeah I can’t believe Dzeeff didn’t put 3 lightning storms, 3 kagari and 3 pot of greed in his deck. Really feels like a big misplay here and I feel those cards would have made this duel way easier for him. (/s in case SOMEONE thinks I’m being serious here)
Doug I really wish you would just....please... *win* , I've been watching your for three years and you're the only Yugituber I watch, please stop throwing so hard it's becoming so difficult to watch the person who made me so good at the game throwing every single match....
Aaah poor Doug. Maneuvering Striker without practice can be pretty tough since you have to do things in the correct order and pay attention to not banishing all your spells, and no Kagari/Engage is rough.
Hey man, I hope you're doing good. Some people suck. The hate you get is lame. Just know that there are people that care about you and enjoy your vids. Keep up the great stuff, guy!
The people joking to Doug about how “yea most decks only put one in the extra monster zone” but these people clearly don’t know how possible it is for you to put your own monsters in each extra monster zone.
Hey Doug thanks for the great content keep it up, the 100 straight Doug dynasty sweep incoming will be truly blessed. I know you're a great player with a bevy of achievements and I am sorry for how commentors who ain't done nothing keep clowning, we love ya.
The reason why it's annoying to see Dzeef lose is because we usually want to see a back and forth. I can't understand why people think Dzeef having a 2 win streak in his games with Farfa is a bad thing and then turn around an complain he loses practically every match against MBT.
Honestly I don't even mind if he loses or what deck he plays, as long as he READS his cards for a few seconds on turn 1. Half of his games are lost from there. It's not much to ask for but seems like it's impossible to get rid of bad habits.
it's getting repetitive if the same person keeps winning; it influences the viewers experience if one player has a 90% winrate from the previous episodes
