HOW DO THESE CARDS WORK?! Master Roulette ft. MBT Yu-Gi-Oh! 

Master Roulette is a fun series where we watch two competitors build decks in a limited format and then Doug Zeeff loses

To be fair to Doug, he has a harder time. MBT just has to beat Doug, but Doug has to beat MBT and also Doug.

It is actually a talent, to put 40 cards together and not read a single one

Once you've gone through all of them you should restart using only the winning packs. Make it a tournament to find the objectively best ever pack

I am half convinced that, if Doug opened with all five pieces of exodia he would still find a way to lose.

I was so hyped to see Dzeeff play RDA until we learned that not only can he not read, but he can't count either

the no-main-deck packs should have to fight eachother in the end using the other 50% of the cards you get from outside the packs just for some kind of bad trashfire matches

We need a Gage and Dzeef sealed series so one of them could actually win

You need to save the absolutely unusable packs for a "showdown of the worst" episode as the finale.

You should probably look into unplayable packs like numeron one and remove them from this wheel and put them onto another one and then do those packs separately after all of the normal ones where done

Bruhhhhh. Dzeef I saw this live and I was one of the fools that actually thought you would win with the power disparity between the packs. I love this and Master Saga so much and not just because there's a certain Schadenfreude I have when you constantly lose :)

This makes it what...an 8 lose streak now. Look, look, look. I know this series is for fun, and I'm all and dandy with playing jank stuff whether win or lose... But...we are entering a "Blackwing Era prog series" position at this point... Its not even a meme at this point anymore, its hurting to watch at this point. Hell, I don't even care if Doug loses again next episode, but for the love for the Egyptian Gods that are almighty please at least read your cards. I knew as soon as he was genuinely surprised that Red Warg was a level 6 and not a 7... I facepalmed so hard and yelled "why?" and "How?", and at that moment I knew from looking at the end stamp that it was going to be yet another quick 2-0 for MBT. Like I said, I don't care for the win loss ratio between the two, but this was bar none (at least this episode) some of the most baffling and unsatisfying things I've seen in a hot minute. Not even back and forth. Just blowout after blowout. Just to clarify, I'm not mad that he lost with Resonator. It is what it is, and some packs just lack that extra steam than others. You can have fun and actually play the game at the same time. I'd rather for Doug to lose due to bad packs, bad pulls, getting outplayed, bad hands, etc rather than losing, because he isn't reading what cards do (or /somehow/ their levels too in the case of this episode). I know he is a very competent player way better than what he is doing. Its fine not to have an ultra sweaty competitive environment for these series. It makes things fun to watch and bring out enjoyment. However, watching someone sacking themselves week after week due to their own fault in not at least doing the bare minimum of reading what cards you are going to play gets old really, *really* fast.

Man, Doug didn't had to run a pack with almost no main deck monsters, topdecked resonator call and still lost, the whole chat was screaming crimson resonator. Doug can get all the luck but the non-reading is his curse and he'll keep losing if that continues. (Tho MBT also didn't read Tygerius)

MBT can build decks so well but he was stressing me out with his glad beast decisions 😂

To help inconsistencies in deck building, both players should be allowed to disenchant unwanted/unneeded cards and craft the cards they weren’t able to pull. This will help the luck factor if someone is unlucky, help make combo decks more consistent, and create a more back and forth match, instead of a one sided match. For the love of the Game, unless you all are on a timer for deck building, you should be able to READ your cards. On the flip side: I enjoyed seeing Glad play and the bantering back and forth. I think the only way you could do the Numeron pack is to also give bonus packs from the master pack set. Otherwise that pack is pull and draw Numeron network or immediately forfeit

For a second I thought it could happen, and then I looked at how much time was remaining in the video and realized there wasn't enough for a game 3.

As someone who likes to play a resonator deck from time to time I malded a bit but still had fun watching

I think you should go double on the unplayable packs, like pull 40 instead of 20 packs, if that's financially feasible. That way you can feature the pack while still keeping it an appropriate level of scuffed

If Dzeef doesn't make Nova imma lose it. Joe has zero outs to it. Edit: ISTG there were like 4 instances he could have and just didn't. Game 2 if he had searched Crimson instead of Red he had the full line. Crimson + Synkron + any 4 is Nova.

Fun challenge idea :D try a video where you do the random structure decks (whether from MD or IRL) and 3 structure decks but can only do 1 of 3 sets you randomly spin on so try to make synergy work even if totally random like Dinos and Cyber Dragons. I think everyone would love it.

I feel like Doug's series should be 3 rounds long like Cimo's History of Jank games are these days even if someone wins twice in a row, because the first round is needed for everyone to actually learn what all their cards do. I just know Doug would be getting those third rounds even if he lost the first 2

Idea: If you don't get enough cards to fill your main deck, your opponent chooses cards to put into your deck until you get a 40 card deck.

What Continuous Spell card was Doug talking about? I don’t think there’s any Continuous Spell you need in RDA

Yeah an episode with unplayable packs duked against each other would be fun

You should do the "no main deck" packs, but you get 40 packs instead of 20...you have to build a main deck mostly out of the cards you get from outside the pack. If, somehow, you cannot build a 40 card deck even with 40 packs, the remainder could be filled by plain normal monsters of your choice (no tuners, no pends).
