@@katequinnoffabquilts Still on phase 'why do I have an inch long skipped stitch? XD The videos make it look so easy, It'll get there just gotta get past stage 1.
Quilters will not be disappointed with these rulers! I so appreciate this refresher. I have prepared several pieces to practice. I’m excited to put my suspension system to work, too.
I love your videos. Even though I am very new to ruler work, I have been quilting and sewing since I was 12. I am many many decades older than that now.
I was just wondering if you have any videos using these templates on your long arm I will be using them on a long arm and I would like to see how they are used. You have such wonderful ideas and have been watching you for several days now every video I can find, but I would certainly love to see some long arm work. Thank you.
Kate my presser foot always seems to prevent my material sliding when using the ruler foot. I don't seem to be able to raise it enough. My machine is a Brother.
@@elainem4583 I am pretty sure from the view that your machine is a low shank model. Do you know if you have the correct foot for your machine? The foot should be adjusted to the fabric. If the fabric cannot move well it likely means that you need to shift the foot to a higher position on the presser foot bar and then tighten the foot. Have you already tried that. Also having the feed dogs in the up position can sometimes take up room needed to move. You can also try to lessen the foot presser in the settings although I am not sure if you model has that ability. I would need to check the manual. Have you viewed the troubleshooting video on this channel. It may help some.
