The new plan Senshi suggested gives the term "soul food" a whole new meaning. Also, I like that Laios actually snapped back at people trying to criticize him for his thought process; it felt cathartic. The clarification was needed, but it was nice to see him stand up for the point he was trying to make.

I love how when izu goes to comfort Marcille you can practically see her contemplating how she should approach this, while also at the same time fighting the cat instinct to bap her away when the elf goes in for a full on hug

Hearing about your fiance, and all the stories about how similar he is to Laios, during all these videos has been really sweet. Everyone deserves someone who wouldn't hesitate to eat them from the waist down!

It is nice that Izutsumi has connected with Marcelle. She was the first to treat her like a person.

The part with Laios saying being a Tall-Man is boring There's an extra in the manga where Chilchuck says that they're not really boring and that each race has something they're really good at. For Tall-Man, its apparently singing and dancing.

As someone that was very picky with food as a kid. Senshi trying so hard to make sure Izutsumi eats just about made me cry.

Laios says tall men are dull, but in the manga extras it says they are the most musically talented of all the races.

I'm happy that "That Time Rich Went Dungeoning in Another World" is getting a second season.

Like, I think most people would say leaving the Wehrmacht in the '30s -40's would be a pretty heroic and praiseworthy desertion. I would even go as far as to say unless the state he is deserting is operating in an entirely liberatory or defensive fashion, desertion is probably at least a sympathetic position.

The story abour Rich thing reminds me of a great quote from Carlton in Fresh Prince: "Being black isn't what I'm trying to be, it's what I am. I'm running the same race and jumping the same hurdles you are, so why are you tripping me up? You said we need to stick together, but you don't even know what that means. If you ask me, you're the real sellout."

You mentioned late into the video, but as somebody with ASD and ADHD, I actually like how much you pause to talk and share your thoughts (especially during JJBA with Ant for a dialogue), it helps keep it engaging for my focus capacity. It also feels more ‘ethical’, as in the commentary becomes more transformative than many reaction channels tend to be.

this issue with saying "Yes" to whatever is asked while I'm zoned out is so real. I always have to tell people, that if they want to ask me or want me to do something, they need to make me look at them first before they ask me something or else I will just often not process it.

A long time ago, I remember hearing someone on TV, talking about his life experience and saying how this is a common problem on the black community. That there's a lot of animosity, a lot of resentmente between them for things such as education and status. This was a long time, so I could be talking out of my ass, but it's something that always stuck with me

The thing you discussed about your fiancé's group of friends has a name, it's tribalism. It's a no brainer that everyone feels more comfortable having social circles where you share a common background and culture, but if that comes to a point in which you are expected to act the same and think the same as everyone in that group and, if you don't, you're "expelled" from the tribe, that can't be called real friendship. Let's do our best and not be tribal.

That story of your husband forgetting to put the dog down was super cute! It kind of reminds me of a moment in the visual novel VA-11 HALL-A, in which during a truth or dare a friend of the female MC dares the girl she has a crush on to bridal-carry her around the group. The crush then has her turn playing, and after that, the MC then says "You can put me down, now".

I really appreciate all the little tangents about your partner. Seeing Laios as autistic (or at least some form of neurodivergent) is such an important aspect of the show/manga for me as someone with adhd, so it puts me extremely on edge when someone doesn't get his character and just pokes fun at him the whole time. I've had to bail on a few reaction vids because of it (And almost did on yours honestly, until I saw someone mention you put it together a few eps in). Hearing all your little stories is great cuz it helps show your perspective on it and it's also just cute seeing how much you love him, and how that seeps into a character I relate a lot to. Anyway, this was probably the best chapter they could have cut the season at, and the second season will definitely be enough to wrap up the rest of the story. You're in for a wild ride!

I'm very neurodivergent, and the thing I've noticed and liked about your reactions is how well you make your thoughts understood. When you say a thing, you say the entire thing; beginning, middle, and end. It never occurred to me that it was practiced behavior.

Americans may not believe this but bringing people down for their success is universal and not a black thing. People will use whatever stupid group affinity they can to try to bring you down to their level, because your success shows them what they lack. It's important to everyone to find a good group of supporting friends, or else you get caught in a whirlpool of mediocrity.

Falin, She had been starving all this time because her current dragon form needed more energy to move, but she currently couldn't eat the food that bigger monsters usually eat and can only eat berries because she only has one mouth. I find a really good character that is also neurodivergent and a good comparison point to Laios is Goblin Slayer. I'd really like to recommend it, but the first episode is genuinely too rough for most people, and definitely too rough for youtube/twitch. But from episode 2 onwards should be fine (baring a couple specific scenes). Anyone know if she's seen Goblin Slayer?
