A wide variety of Ultralight and Light sport aircraft doing take-offs and landings. Called the fun-fly-zone for a reason. 21 min of quick-paced take-off and landings. The "ultralight" area as us veterans know it, doesn't get as much video coverage as the rest of the show, so here it is for those that didn't get to visit this year.

Thanks for posting, was having trouble finding any videos of the ultralights this year! I'm the Guy in the Kolb Firefly at the 10:00 min mark.

Your Firefly has one strut? Like a Firestar? Nice specimen. Did you make the trip with the other Kolb? I fly a 1988 Firestar.

The Black/Grey is a Kolb Firestar 2. It's the (too heavy) brother of the 103 legal Firefly. IDK what the red/white plane is.

Hugocraft Pretty impressive eh? This is the Shock Ultra, the Shock Cub is a little bit heavier version. This has a 914 turbo mated to a Helix constant speed propeller that is single lever. The Shock Cub is now being flown with the 915 iS in Europe and it will be available on the Ultra as well.
