Do you like flying but don't want to be bothered getting a flying license? Today we are going to show you 10 Aircraft you can fly without a license part 3. Being able to be your own pilot is amazing especially with a personal aircraft. According to the part 103 regulation people in the US are legally allowed to fly aircraft, helicopters, and gyrocopters that are ultralight to fly without a license. Many companies have become specialists for experimental aircraft, ultralight aircraft, and even ultralight helicopters. Most of the lightweight aircraft will be delivered as kit planes which you will have to assemble at home in your garage. These homebuilt aircraft do not require a license we strongly recommend you to get professional training before start flying. You will find some great information at the EAA Homepage.

Yes, please do. I've been blessed with a grandfather, a great uncle, an uncle and both parents as private pilots with many and varying certificates. I also took flight training and have planned to build my own plane. However, I had a stroke in 2008 so I planned to build an ultralight. But I also know of several folks who didn't fare too well going their own way. Please get some instruction and please rely on the advice and wisdom of a professional builder, an AP/AF mechanic or your nearest EAA chapter.

@@rickrosstheboss899 I mean it's a cool idea, especially since fitting it with real ones would be the definition of highly illegal, plus it would weigh the thing down too much bust still it's a cool concept especially since airsoft fields have helicopters. humvee's APCs and literal tanks that have been modified to fire their weapons as normal but deploy blanks or BB's

at least microsoft flight simulator. im simulation mode its almost the real thing. they train you on flight sim , i have a few thousand hours and have always wanted to get my pilots license. my friends have let me fly their planes once up in the air for a few minutes and its almost identical as far as learning what to do and how to do it. i felt like i had flown a real plane before. it was no problem. confidence booster to actually get my license.

Part 103 has a maximum of 5 gallons of fuel, so the 1100R with 6 or more gallons isn't legal under part 103.

I had the pleasure of spending the day with Wayne Ison at his home on the 60th anniversary of D-Day. Boy did he have some stories about that event. I asked him if he remembered where he was that day. He replied, "Remember it, I lived it." There have been more homebuilt planes built from his plans than any other designer.

@@bradleyhitchcock7525 THE PRICE WAS $2800 NOT FINISHED engine included . Its a nice Ultralight.Sorry my caps where on .No training i'm 75 and like my Aerolite103. Remember to keep a little angle of attack on your wings so your craft don't stall . Not really that hard. You do little Touch & go on runway. Fly about 50ft above runway so you can practice landing & takeoffs. The view is awesome a site to behold forever and you can go anytime when weathers right.

In 2020, despite covid, there was a "120kg-Fly-In" in Stendal, Germany and I went there in my own 120kg plane (SD-1, callsign D-MTDC. I really should make a video clip from what little footage I was able to take). Several of the models you promote here were on display in Stendal. I believe it was the first time that such a great variety of 120kg/264lbs planes could be seen in operation there and some of them left quite the impression. Also, even with 484km/300miles (one way) I couldn't win the "longest journey" trophy, as one guy had flown in from czech republic, more than twice the distance...

The Badland F3 has folding wings that one person can manage. You can have your plane folded and on a trailer in 10 minutes.

This video only applies within the USA! In the UK you need a licence for anything powered by an engine that flies and you you need have an NPPL to fly a Microlight (like the planes in this video), with a minimum of 25 hours training, of which 10 must be solo flights. The only exception is currently a Paramotor, which is still licence free in the UK...But even then, you still need to go on expensive training courses to learn the essential aviation rules, and you can't just fly them anywhere you like, at any time you like, or in any weather...You can't fly them over built up areas, or over an airport for instance and they don't recommend flying them in winds above 20knots...Get your navigation wrong, or fail to obey aviation rules, and you could end up being issued with a huge, life destroying fine...But it could be worse than that, especially if you end up causing a near miss incident with a larger private or commercial aircraft. That would result in a Prison sentence too. It is manditory to join a specific authority called the BHPA (British Paragliding and Hang Gliding Association), that governs the sport and trains people to safely fly Paramotors...Membership is £126 a year. In theory, you could train yourself, but if you do, you won't be allowed to join the BHPA until you agree to start training all over again using BHPA recognised training lessons....So unlike the States, there is no freedom of the skies here in the UK. :(

For the price of many of these single seat ultra light airplanes anyone could buy a flyable certified (safe) airplane. But then of course you would require a pilot's licence. (safer too)

Different countries have different rules concerning ultralights and what qualifies in Europe and Canada is NOT the same as those that fly under USA Part 103 rules. Basically, in the USA the rules are: Maximum empty weight = 254 pounds (unless fitted with a ballistic recovery parachute, then the maximum weight is 278 pounds) One seat, no passengers allowed! Maximum of 5 gallons of fuel Maximum level flight speed of 55 knots (102 km/h; 63 mph) Power off stall speed of 24 knots (45 km/h; 28 mph). If your airplane carries 6 gallons of fuel, it is NOT an ultralight in the USA! If your airplane has a second seat, it is NOT an ultralight in the USA! If your airplane goes 70 mph in level flight, it is NOT an ultralight in the USA! While you do not need a pilots license to fly a qualified ultralight in the USA, doing so without getting some training is the road (flight path?) to disaster! A few have flown UL's and actually survived however, for every one that survives there are dozens that do not! Training is something that will save your life! UL's are not very fast but they are definitely fast enough to kill you! Cheers, jc

in order to qualify as an ultralight under FAA part 103, fuel capacity is limited to 5 gallons, and maximum speed in level flight is 55 knots at maximum power.

On the MiniMax you mentioned it has a 6 gal tank and you can add another 6 gallons 1:00, but under part 103 you are limited to 5 gallons max. Nice little bobble when you talked about the engine on the Corsair replica, you say it exudes (?) 42 hp and 2500 RMP, 2:00 obviously whoever wrote the copy got that wrong since the written label says RMP as well as reading that way, instead of RPM, and the model is a CORSAIR, not a CROSAIR, at least its pronounced correctly. 😎

To fly without a license the plane must meet FAR 103 regulations. To meet these regs the plane cannot carry more than 5 gallons and must weigh less no more than 254 pounds, with a level cruise not to exceed 63 mph.

Please remember just because you don’t have to have a license does not mean you should fly it straight out of the box. You should always have some ground school hours and a little bit of flight school. Also there are a lot of aviation laws that people need to know.

Yes it is, I had one for about 3 1/2 years and flew it often. Was pushing the limit on the Part 103 by about 2lbs over and under. Sold it in '19 and do miss it. Very powerful plane. I would say it is experimental. Had a 447 on it with 5 gal tanl right at 256lbs but with the Balistic chute gave me the edge for additional weight allowance.

This is very interesting. Well my dad said that you always have to be careful as you fly an aircraft. I like their ideas. Well I still think even though you can fly them without license it still isn't really easy.
