I think it's cute how they bicker about December because that's when the mission went, at the original lyrics about the month of May, and when what's they have the song debate and the singer is now enjoyed skipping, the other replies, "I ain"t skipping boy"you could hear are a very fast quiet "fuck you" before they carry on. The last two guys on the moon bickering like an old married couple. There's a couple videos of Alan Bean discussing the mission and the myth of the Tracy Rock's name, seen in one of the shots early on. If you haven't seen messes video about the moon vehicle and the astronauts speaking to the vehicle team when they got back and that I really recommend watching that but on mobile so I can link it sorry. There's a recent NASA video about the Rocks collected by this mission and Island bead is explaining to one of the Artemis astronaut candidates about his findings and the differences she could expect on Mars oh, it's great they're putting people back in space finally it's been far too long live been fiddling around with spacelab in the ISS instead of getting on with exploring! Also I just wish all of the conspirators words would invite Buzz Aldrin to their next ConspiraCon so he can punch the hell out of them like he did with that guy a couple years ago. Buzz is crazy the good way XD
Some fun facts for you guys: I think all of this footage is from Apollo 16 with John Young and Charles Duke. At the time, John was 41 years old and Charles was 36. The two spent 71 hours on the surface of the moon, and actually were traversing the land for 20 hours. During that time, they drove their rover for about 17 miles and collected a little over 200 pounds of moon rocks. Sounds like a fun weekend vacation if you ask me.
I remember someone criticising Matt Damon's character in The Martian, that how he wasn't a serious guy, not like NASA astronauts back then. Also NASA astronauts back then: 6:25
@@darkfire8865 I mean they're often up in space for days or even months. They've gotta find something to do to pass the time. Not to mention being up in space is a one-of-a-kind experience, any sane person would take their chance to have some fun lol
If i was a astronaut on the moon i will 100% act like they do, must be such a nice feeling, being there with someone else doing research on the moon .. amazing
I have touched it myself. The National Air & Space Museum in Washington, DC has a moon rock on display and visitors can touch it. Go there someday and touch it yourself.
@@rikybj0276 No. What I felt was pride in the fact that the United States had accomplished history's greatest technical achievement and brought that moon rock down here.
These guys didn't sign up like using a ticket to go on a ride that has millions of people each year on it, these guys signed up to be one of the first people to walk on the Moon or see Earth from space. They weren't afraid of being stranded with nobody but themselves or having their blood boil and evaporate, that is why they were chosen to be on this mission.
The fact that humans, who are mere animals like any other on earth, evolved to the point of being able to put people on a rock floating in the middle of a vast unknown darkness, is absolutely insane. We’re literally able to venture outside of our own planet, travel for thousands of miles in the abyss of space, land on a totally different structure that isn’t even habitable, and comeback alive and well.
“I was strolling on the Moon one day.” “In the merry, merry month of December,-“ “No May!” “May.” “When then much of my surprise, a pair Bonny eyes...” “Do do do do” “Boy this is a neat way to travel isn’t it great?”
@@viralspitz7843 its a shame people risk their life to land on the moon and you just called it fake simply believing the conspiracy theorist ,you shouldve been proud that humanity has set foot on the moon
Ali Kasan it’s not a conspiracy, you can’t trust the government worth shit they be lying and poisoning you. Wake up and you will see the the illusions and lies they sell you. They got distractions out here like social media, sports, news, games, tv, politics, etc they poisoning you from contrails, food, water, etc and you guys simply cannot see it because your too focus on this bullshit life where you slave away at school or you job just to live the same way as everybody else. Start meditating and connecting with nature which is hard to do now since they be blocking the sun and throwing up 5g everywhere now, unplug from the program and you will start to understand.
That shield you see is just the visor, underneath that theres another glass visor that isnt gold and under that the Astronaut is wearing a "glass" bubble thats the part that is actually pressured, so only a shattered visor would be an issue
Aliens: The intelligent life from Planet Earth has made a landing on the moon with some kind of advanced Spaceflight module!! Astronauts: Damn! Look at the size of that rock!!
My brain fucked up the sentence and for a second I thought it said “watching humans pretend to be on the moon” But in all seriousness you’re right it’s really cool lol
Very wholesome and very… HUMAN. I only knew about these astronauts through formal educational materials. Seeing this footage made me realize they were people just like us who had moments of joy and excitement. ❤
2:53 So THAT'S why Apollo 18 went wrong and was classified... Astronaut: "Look at the size of that rock" Rock: *transforms into rock lobster* "It's treason then"
crying my eyes out watching this. the most inspiring things man has ever or will ever do. our first fee explorations outside of our egg... our first few steps outside the living shuttle of earth. the apollo missions are more important than anything we've ever done.
There is no way they could've faked it with 1960's technology, it just simply was impossible to do so. It seems as if you are living a life of denial, I hope this changes. Unlesss if you are just being a dick, then fuck off.
AeronauticsNut970 Formerly MineCRFTFreak970 what is that noise that keeps repeating from 6:29? I can hear it at 6:35 and 6:56 as well. Is that laughter? It sounds weird and exactly the same each time? I’m not a moon landing denier btw, I believe we went to the moon. But that sound sounds like some default sound being reused lol.
Its cute how they jump hop and have those arms open while running on the moon it feels like they are thinking of the time they had this experience as a child.
Asma Khan, it’s because there is no wind there to blow the sand on the footprint. That’s why you don’t see dinosaurs footprints since dirt/sand gets blown on top of it after millions of years.
And that was a great movie (documentary) -- one produced by Al Reinert with the cooperation of NASA and using films they had in cold storage at the time. I saw it in a movie theater in 1989. There wasn't much film footage available to the public back then. (Just those old 30 minute official NASA school films of each Apollo mission -- with the grainy footage.) ....So, practically all through the Nineties this was the best Apollo Moon documentary out there -- and available on video cassette -- for those fascinated with that era in our space program. (I was too young at the times of the actual missions to appreciate them.)
just watching this stuff is so inspiring. I really hope the artemis program gets up and running soon. So we can get some people back on the moon. Also, while I'm here, here are some things I noticed that help disprove the landings were fake: The dust the astronauts kick up doesnt stay in the air. It falls right back down. This would only happen in an airless environment. and while im talking about airless environments, notice how dark all the shadows are. You can't see anything thats in shadow. This is because there's no air scattering the light. Moon shadows are nearly perfectly dark. People like to claim its in slow motion, and thats how they made it look like low gravity, but there are some movements the astronauts do that can only be done in lower gravity. Notice how they didn't have to bend down to pick up rocks with their shovels. They just bent their knees. Because they're lighter on the moon, they can be supported easier. This is also seen when the astronauts trip. They're able to bounce back up very easily, and can clearly keep their balance for longer than they could in regular gravity. So, the dust doesnt fall, shadows are darker than normal, and the astronauts have strange movements. It's almost like they're in an airless, low gravity environment...
Yahoo i keep coming back to this video every night to give me some peace of mind that these dudes just had fun on the moon this video just makes me so happy idek why
Honestly it's amazing how fun they were having while being over 350k kilometers from Earth. I wish we could go there again just for other people to goof off like these guys.
The people who say the moon landing was fake all have one thing in common. None of those people have ever been so much as *hungry.* It's the sort of atrophying of the human soul that happens to people who have never had any concept of hardship in their entire lives.
And this is an example of people living life to the damn fullest...and loving it. This was such a miraculous experience for them that I'm convinced had they ended up stranded there they would still be having fun.
Humans: we are intelligent, we can do anything even the impossible. Apollo: look at the size of that rock! The astronaut sounds like a kindergartner and it’s cute
Oh my God one time I was playing that game I forgot the name but I thought I saw a trashcan move so I shot the trashcan I turned around for one second and then a typhon on my face
@@fernandovalencia3542 yup...even Neil Armstrong while strolling in the SIMULATION SITE.. SAID: " I really beleaved that I was on the moon"... Yes Neil you were on the moon...the simulation sets called "the moon"... How many were there..? I think I have so far located six simulation movie sets
Moose Racks umm mr moose how come the dust is falling back down not flying away? And how did they put retro reflective on the moon of it was in a studio?
I love this video so much. There is no greater example of people are always people. They're fighter pilot engineers, some of the first few humans on another heavenly body, in a place that will kill them if they even slightly mess up, and their human tunes, laughing while skipping, making fun of each other for being messy and pointing out cool rock before showing them off on camera. It's cute to see no matter how far we go we're all human.
The footage and the audio are actually from different parts if you want to see the real rock their talking about look up house rock and you'll understand why they're talking about how big it is.
@@fran-wk3nq If you're there for a long time, that will happen along with some serious cardiovascular problems. So the astronauts probably did not develop any body problems, the only thing that happened was the radiation which was not that bad since they were only there for a while. Oh and this can be prevented by exercising a lot.
@@fran-wk3nq Oh okay, I was just clarifying for you just in case. Also I heard that in 2024 they're going back to the moon on the Artemis mission to stay.
India chandrayan 1 sent to moon in 2008. India provide the data to NASA provided by chandrayan 1. On same data NASA discovered Moon has water molecules. I can't understand really they send their astronauts to moon or not.
@@aryansahoo2610 Houston. The cameras were set up by the astronauts then remote controlled from Earth. It was quite the ordeal to film these missions due to the latency.
