The pattern Paradox by Rick Roberts has been a favorite of mine and it was fun to learn about this version of the pattern made inside a circle. It looks a little complicated, but if you follow the basic steps for Paradox, then it is a fun pattern to draw. Try it in a sketchbook first if needed. Here’s a link to a video from Rick where he demonstrates Paradox. The video has no sound. • Bijou's Be Well Series...
This pattern variation was created by Ina Sonnenmoser who built the Pattern Collection website. Unfortunately, the website is gone, but several people saved all the patterns in Pinterest. Barbara, you are an excellent teacher. I can follow along because I pause the video along each step of the way. This one is going to take me a lot of practice. All my "C's" are different. But, I think that with shading and color that I can make it work.

Thank you so much, Wilma. I’m happy that you can follow along. This pattern took practice for me and my C’s were a little wonky, but it works out. Have fun tangling! 🥰❤️

Love how you teach! Great relaxed voice too. I have tried following others and I find I am always more successful with you. No elevator music is a bonus.

You’re so welcome, Jana. And thank you. Do you mean the “chop” to sign your tile? Just play around with combining your initials. Mine has changed over the years.

I enjoyed watching this....I love the look of this pattern and will practice! Why is there a paper clip on your blending tool? I am going to subscribe and check out your channel. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much! 🥰 Sometimes I forget to explain the paper clip. I use it to push out the point when it gets flat. I just leave it there now rather than search for, lol! 😂

@@notperfectzen Thanks for replying about the paper clip, still a bit confused, can you show it on your next tutorial? I wondered how one can sharpen them!
@notperfectzen
@notperfectzen 4 месяца назад
Yes, I will do my best to remember! 😁 I unfold one side of a large paper clip and slip it inside the tortillion. You can use a nail file to clean and sharpen them a little. Keep in mind they are just rolled paper.

My mother in law used the word "funges" when describing mushrooms. She was of Italian heritage.

Ang "funges" is pronounced with a soft G.

I looked in some online dictionaries and it can be pronounced either way. ☺️
