I've seen a few plasma ball videos on youtube, mainly on how to burn things, or make flourescent bulbs light up. These tricks are not ones i'd commonly seen, and had just discovered by playing with the units.

If your hand is 6 inches in length(on average for a fully grown adults.) then I would have to say that the plasma ball has a diameter of 3.5 inches(give or take a few millimeters)
