Fantastic place with some wonderful photos, Adam. Too bad the next morning didn't work out with all that fog. I've just spent an hour between your vlog and Gavin's. Better than any Netflix show I've seen lately. Hope that Indian curry package didn't spoil the trail.

Thanks for showing the raw files. Really helps to see the creative from raw to the final image. I've been living in Vancouver for over 20 years but never been to Tofino. I only go to Vancouver Island once a year for the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibit at the Royal BC Museum. Always a highlight. I guess it's time to visit more often since it's so beautiful.

We were just in Tofino a couple weekends ago at Cox bay beach. We got completely fogged in at Chesterman beach in the morning and it made for some great photos!

I once took a very long exposure trying to capture fog on a river at night. But because the lens was open for so long, the fog almost completely disappeared. Have you tried that? I wonder what would happen if you put you 10 stop on and left the shutter open for a couple minutes. If you're like me you'd think "well nothing it would be 2 minutes of fog". But I suspect that since the fog does actually move around, if it isn't too thick, and exposes parts of what's behind it, maybe you could actually get a shot. Worth a try. I'd do it myself, but we almost never get fog here. Maybe once every few years.

I love first seeing Gavin's post and now yours. The new mic seems to have done pretty well in the wind. Here we get Bay Laurels totally bent over from the wind. Really pretty trees but they don't have the beautiful color of the Madrone trees. Looks like Gavin has put on some weight. The married life is treating him good. As always, lovely video Adam!

Great shots. Your hair is about as long as mine was a few weeks ago. I hadn't cut it for over a year. Getting it cut was one of the first things I did two weeks after my second COVID shot. Looks like Gavin's diet is working out nicely. And, as always, Amanda is a keeper.
