Fun w/ AI: RGB Synchronized Lamps Livingroom | Redwood City CA 2008 | AI Upscaled Digital Cam Video 

I picked up some RGB flood lamps at the Electronics Flea Market in May of 2008. I eventually figured out they keyed their timing off the AC power mains 60 Hz cycle. The cycle was 52 seconds - the length of this video. I found I could reset them one-by-one with precisely offset timing - 6 lamps @ 8 2/3 seconds each - and get this continuous effect. (It usually took a few tries to get it right.)
