I think you’re mostly right, but I was thinking of exceptions. I think Albert Einstein was considered a hero in his lifetime for his new theories on physics. It’s interesting how the public made Einstein a hero even if they didn’t quite understand what he did. Einstein would have been the first to admit that he had collaborated with other physicists, but I think he enjoyed his celebrity.
I agree that that is a ridiculous Hollywood fantasy of what ham radio is. However, long ago (1930s?), I think broadcasts were allowed on amateur radio. My dad broadcast religious music and sermons then. The entire radio industry had many shakeout experiments.
Picked up studying the case around this time. JFK the movie came out . The area is a good ambush site to fire on a convertible going very slow on elm Street.
Not only is this not the grassy knoll, but even if it was; it’s an utterly insignificant place. Because the grassy knoll actually has nothing to do with the assassination, it’s all just conspiracy blather.
Let us not forget let this dealey plaza is a major Masonic memorial to something or another, and I just found this out recently, and that's totally significant it's the way they operate Major symbolism all the time really with pretty much everything they do!
Hi I love these kinds of sales, im a gadget geek in a small resort town so thrift shopping for tech is....slim pickings. My I suggest slower pans of items on tables...so we can see individual items. I used to goto first Saturday and mostly electronics and computer flea market...made a business buying and bring back to small town for many years. Thank you for video 😊
Thanks! Regarding the panning, I agree. What was happening at the time is that I could tell people were reacting negatively to me openly filming so I was trying to do it stealthily. There's often a lot of questionable origin items at Electronics Flea markets.
I grew up in this era of Knott's, thanks for sharing this amazing footage. This might be the only depiction on the internet of this awesome statue @ 7:37 ; looks Mayan/Aztec inspired. can anyone identify further?
I road this ride over a dozen times and i was never super comfortable with the fact your just standing in a cage going up to the top of the tower and then dropping. They had these huge looking U shaped cusion pads about 2ft thick to put on ground in case of a malfunction or fadter decent in case the parachute got ripped i guess. Somebody did wind up jumping out of the cage and RIP themselves and couple years later the ride was gone. The wacky soap box racer ride was great but before the had the cars on the track, they had motorcycle riding cars that looked like an actual motorcycle only being held on by an old school seatbelt. Always felt like you were about to fall off at any time, that's probably why they replaced with the cars.
@@jet1149Oswald was killed too so he was never proven guilty or innocent. Maybe you believe it was him but most people don't! I don't! There's no proof he did so you can't speak for everyone!
@@vincentlussier8264 there's actually a mountain of evidence against Oswald both physical and circumstantial, also his behavior before during and after is that of a guilty man, there is absolutely zero evidence of conspiracy, cover-up or another shooter, if you have the evidence speak up you'll be on every News Channel tonight and you'll be a very rich man, also there was a time when the majority of people thought the world was flat, many still do why because they want to
@deathguitrst I just went through the rides posted at www.knotts.com/rides-experiences and don't see that one listed. The ride was bumpy and painful and seemed aged 32 years ago when I was there. I bet it was torn down. Edit: maybe this one? www.knotts.com/rides-experiences/calico-mine-ride I'd like to know what the ride at 5:20 is.
@@jerryhogsett - The ride at 5:10 is 'Gran Slammer' (open 1987 -> closed 2003), the ride at 5:20 is 'Tampico Tumbler' (open 1987 -> closed 2002), and the ride at 8:00 is 'Wacky Soap Box Racers' (open 1976 -> closed 1996). The Wacky Soap Box Racers was replaced by 'Windjammer', which wasn't very good and was torn down after only a few years (open 1997 -> closed 2000). That got replaced by Xcelerator, which is still in operation to this day (opened in 2002).
It's real footage that has been cleaned up using several AI engines. The original 8mm analog camcorder video is muddy and full of tape video tape artifacts. It's also low res, and low frame rate. To solve these issues: - The footage has been run through Real-ESRGAN 4x+ at 1X scale to clean up noise - The frame rate has been doubled by using EMA-VFI to create artificial between-frames - The frame size has been quadrupled using Real-RSRGAN 4x+ at 4X scale to artificially upscale Technically, the output is 100% AI produced, using source material that is real.
Even the so-called 'historians' mention the grassy knoll and put location data on placks, yet they still contend that Oswald was the solel nut shooter.
@@franclin0 Because so much research has been going on over the past 60 years to prove that Oswald did not fire a shot that day at anyone or anything. He was a CIA operative, but was set up to be the patsy just like he's said. The assassination of JFK wis the biggest coup and cover up that has ever happened to our country.
Dallas was never Kennedy terrority. Dallas was actually headquarters of the John birch society and Minutemen, a rightwing paramilitary group. Financed by hl hunt a very powerful Texan. These boys didn't play nice.
You, sir, are very fortunate to have visited Dealey Plaza before it went to hell. This is shortly after Oliver Stone had the city prune the trees and and make the plaza look like it did in 1963 as much as possible. If you were to go there to day, you would see what a total mess the grounds, the pergola, and especially the trees are. Dallas should be ashamed of itself for allowing this Historic sight to become so ugly and dirty. People have trampled the area directly around Zapruder's concrete block area , and part of the stairs connected to the concrete block that take us up to the terrace in front of the pergola, so much so that the concrete that was once beneath the ground in that are is now showing, and it's a terrible sight. If you haven't been there recently, it would break your heart to see the condition of this place now. The trees are in **DESPERATE** need of serious pruninig. It's very, very sad.
loll .. it would be interesting to wee how buddy Holley would have dealt with cuban missille crisis and whether h e could have resistedthe top generals wanting to nuclear bomb cuba ? lol
Back and to the left. The Warren Commission was a joke. There was a second shooter and the kill shot on President Kennedy came from the front. Not the back where Oswald was.
@MintyFreshTurds Thanks! It was a 1985, silver over metallic gray, with a full digital dashboard. I bought it used at the Ford dealer in Fremont, California. I used to spend hours every weekend fully detailing it inside and out. I was a real joy keeping it looking showroom quality. I traded it in a few years later when I bought a brand new Nissan 300ZX.
You're welcome @RichardRyderx I'm really happy you liked it! I do plan to upload more. I have footage from Folsom and Dore Alley for some years from 2000 to 2013. I plan to work on those in the coming weeks. I've also got SF Pride and Castro Street Fair footage for certain years.
