Thanks for the cool videos, what's the name of the glass bed you are using? What do you also use to help with adhesion? I have an Ender 3 S1 Pro that comes with PEI, has very good adhesion, but my bed is so warped that I want to get a glass bed to reduce the warpage, but worried that I might then lose the good adhesion

Glad you like our videos, Glass bed I used is comes with Creality ender 3 v2. You can deal with warpage by adjust some settings (like temp...)

@@3DELWORLD Thanks, I am more talking about the bed being warped, not the models that I print, so temp would not sort it. I just need a bed that is flat. I will look into that one that comes with the E3V2

From what I read, only if you use PET and PETG plastics without coloring, and even so without high temperatures. But you can print molds to make safer materials with them.

@@evoikon Its the voids from 3d printing that is one of the issues when it comes to food and bacterial growth.

PLA and PETG are food safe as long as they were manufactured correctly. The thing is that 3D printing isn't food safe because the layer lines leave voids that are nearly impossible to clean properly and quickly because bacteria playgrounds. So you can use them once. With molds, you have to be careful not to transfer those layer lines. Silicone will transfer the layer lines almost perfectly unless you sand or smooth them in some way. I'm not an expert, but I think coming in contact with room temperature non-produce foods (like sugar, flour, chips) is relatively safe, as these products can be held at room temperature specifically because they lack the conditions required for bacteria growth. That said, you can't print with a bronze nozzle and you have to make sure the specific filament is food safe. And you probably can't clean them. Cleaning may actually introduce bacteria. So I don't think it's really work messing with food.

I love functional 3D print designs but i hate that most of them are just utterly pointless. 00:06 AA Battery Holder 3d printed If you need to store a bunch of them, maybe. If you work with a bunch of similar screws and cant tell them apart for some reason and dont want to use a caliper every time 04:17 Cutting Finger Protector 3d printed Complete bs. A sharp knife will cut into this, if you use knuckles you only use a tiny area that is away from the plastic. At best you get plastic shavings in your food. Plus you need to take a lot of time to put it on and off and the food safety is questionable 05:16 Lemon Squeezer 3d printed Useless, Once your slice is this small, you can squeeze it by hand easier faster and probably better with less waste and no questionable plastic 06:28 Flour Shovel Spoon 3d printed Useless, you probably have a spoon already?... It is something that you cant easily buy but this design looks flimsy and you cant grab the paper towel onehanded. Its something. 07:48 Bag Clip With Screw Cap 3d printed A solution to a non existing problem i guess... I can see a use case where you have a 15kg bag of dog food and youre too old to properly hold it you might want to use something like this to pour it out but thats really about it. Any small bags you just use a cheap cloth pin or just rol it and any larger bag you can just use a shovel (maybe the previous one even?) 09:10 Credit Card Phone Stand 3d printed I dont believe anyone will ever use it. I used to have a phone stand integrated into my phone case and i used it only sometimes and only when watching movies at which point i could just as easily have a better more sturdy variant at hand. 10:09 Razor Holder 3d printed Maybe useful, be aware about doublesided tape in bathroom though, it tends to usually stop sticking and then you see your razor on the floor. Definitely dont use with a straight razor

The screw and nut measuring tool is actually pretty useful. If you're sorting through a bunch of screws, it's much faster to use this than calipers. Everything else is landfill waste.
